if i was able to gibe them a zero i would there garbage mechanics or what ever they call them self . ccarlos and his crew are scams did fix anything on my vehicle and kept messing up one me i took it somewhere else and they told me they didn't do anything to it so i don't recommend this place

State transmission is simply a life saver. My daughter (who is a full time college student) was having transmission problems with her Chevy Spark. We first took it to AMMCO ( what a nightmare that was), after having the car for two days and wanting more money to continue diagnosis of the problem, AAMCO had no answers only more questions. I stumbled upon State Transmission on Google called them, talked to Carlos he got us in first thing the next morning. Within about 2 hours he had it diagnosed, repaired and back on the road ( working perfectly I might add). And he accomplished all of this at less than 1/4th the price that AAMCO wanted to charge me. Carlos really went above and beyond the call of duty and saved the day. I would highly recommend State Transmission, Carlos is a knowledgeable and honest guy and he didn't hesitate to not only explain what was wrong but he also showed me, he didn't hide behind "the insurance clause" like nearly all other shops do, his guys work right in the open and had no problem with me observing the work they were doing. I will DEFINITELY trust all of my vehicles with Carlos and his team at State Transmission.

I don't even know where to begin with the "state specialist" this has to be the worst mechanic experience I've ever had. I had to get my transmission rebuilt by them and it was 2200 for that and to change my seals on my head gasket because I was leaking oil they fixed that and I had no problem with that but for the transmission it was a nightmare they got it to drive again but the problem was it wasn't shifting from 1st-2nd gear I would have to let off the gas for it to shift if not it would rev up to 7k then shift but super aggressive I had taken it back to them mind you I had waited a month and a half to get the car back and took it back a day later of having the car and waited another three weeks for the owner Carlos to say they couldn't find anything and that it was my ecu on my car that wasn't working properly so I took it back for the third time and they changed the computer and it made it run worse i would step on the gas and it would jerk the car much I was afraid it was gonna blow my motor then he changed the computer back and two weeks later the motor has blew from the transmission over reving the car to much he will deny it to this day that it was because of the transmission but then I took it back for the fourth time to get it fixed finally and he had it there for about three weeks to tell me there's nothing wrong at all and I checked over other day at the transmission spot to see if they would take my car inside to put it on the lift and check it out but they never did it stayed outside and he lied to me then the car was still slipping gears and I took it back for the fifth time and he put it on the lift that day and dropped the transmission and fixed whatever that was wrong with it kind of It still work shift from 1st to 2nd without me letting off the gas and the fifth time I left it there he left my windows down and my car was filled with rat shit all over with my amp wires being chewed on and destroyed. He also lost my original key for my car and the key fob I had to get a new key and key fob for my car there was so much that had happened with this mechanic I recommend you to never come here

Stopped in here and had my transmission service they were able to get me in quickly get things taken care of and I was able to get down the road without any problems was happy with their service

Look. If I could leave a zero star review I would. Also excuse my language but this is complete b******** I paid over 1000$ to get my car fixed here. I told him to do or fix whatever it needs and I will pay the total. They delayed time. It took them 4 months to get my car ready because they never started on it. To top this off the mechanic Carlos didn't update me on anything that my car needed during this time until I was able to pick it up and then he informed me it would need spark plugs changed, new battery, new hose, etc etc. Yes I was mad but I let it go. I just said I'll go to another mechanic from now and on... but no what really set me off was that they stole my wheel lock and my front car emblem and lettering. Wtf this business is not an honest business. They not only do trash work on their time but also steal from the people they're profiting off. Freaking BS. Save your money and time. Do not come here.

Whatever you do do not come here unless you want your transmission to give out within 3 months like mine did now I been without a car because it costs a arm and leg to get it fixed again I took it back and he didn't want to offer to help me said there was nothing he can do he is just money hungry and does not care about the customers cars he just wants to get it in n out he went the cheap way!
