“The owner is super nice. She was very accomidating and friendly. For the price, you will not find a better place to spend the night. In comparison to the hotel next door, this place is clean spacious and the best deal for your money.

Rooms: The rooms are clean and it seems the staff go out of their way to attempt and accomidate you.

Walkability: There are many places to walk to, its located just off of main street.

Noteworthy details: The pool is crystal clear.”

“Have stayed several times over the past 6 years. Love it. The cabins are very clean with good quality furnishings and linens. Have cooked on each trip and the kitchens have all the necessities, other than food of course. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

And you can’t beat the location - 10,000 feet in the Sierras with comfortable beds and hot showers at the end of the day.

Best hike is up the Gem Lakes Trail (Little Lakes Trail) rising from 10,200 at the picturesque trailhead to 11,000 feet at the final lakes.

Rooms: For cabins built around 1930’s or 40’s the cabins are in excellent condition, well maintained, comfortable furniture, good quality linens, and kitchen ware suitable for 4-5 people including pots refrigerator, sink and stove.

Nearby activities: Hiking, primarily up the Gem Lakes trail (Little Lakes Trail) - quite beautiful, horseback riding from the Rock Creek Pack Station.

Safety: Completely safe area.

Walkability: The location is 10 miles up a mountain canyon so you gotta drive there. And the good is a 2 mile drive further up the canyon. Only activity in walking distance is fishing at Rock Creek Lake.

Food and drinks: The BBQ and pies are excellent, especially after an alpine hike.”

“Loved my stay here !!! The room (#108) was so cute and I appreciated being in an end unit. I was going to stay just one night but enjoyed being there so much, I stayed a little longer. Wonderful that they are dog-friendly, and within walking distance into town.”

“2023.11
It's pretty affordable for accommodation in Mammoth Lakes.

There was a problem with the internet connection when I first arrived, but the front desk staff helped to solve it ^_^”

“I give this 5 stars. Not because it's perfect, but because it is almost always very quiet, clean, and close to the main highway without all the noise and attention.”

“Great room downstairs, since I am disabled. That was great. Everything worked which was Great. I had No Issues.
The only issue for me was the Bed being too soft. I'm used to a firmer mattress.

Rooms: Spacious with 2 beds and somewhere to sit down to eat. Microwave & Refrigerator in room. TV even worked Great.

Nearby activities: From Motel 6 if you ate at Upper Crust or Dennys you get a 10% at either of these Restaurants. Every little helps.

Safety: Handicapped walk-up area by room helped me alot.

Walkability: You can Drive to Eat or the Walkability to go eat is excellent.

Food and drinks: Food & Drinks is Walkable.”

“While other hotels are jacking up their prices for the season, this little place kept theirs low. This an old property that hasn't had much love on the outside. The surprise is that inside the rooms, remodeling has been done, and they are clean and comfortable. It's off the beaten track but will work for a budget place to stay.”

“And overnight stop on our way to eastern Sierras. Clean room, spacious and the price was right. Adequate breakfast and conveniently located to 395 and restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Food and drinks: Conveniently located near Whiskey Creek restaurant. We had a great meal there, and the saxophone player did some great jazz. He even played Coltrane for me. We even brought in a bottle of our own wine and they didn't charge us a corkage fee. Extra bonus!”

“Landed in bishop around midnight super tired and desperately looking for somewhere to stay but nothing in our price range was available last minute. Super 8 definitely came in clutch. The rooms were a little dated but passed when I checked for bedbugs! Reminds me of a room id have in elementary school with the colour scheme (in an endearing way) slept like a baby. Only things I'd change is the shower heads, bath mats are getting a little old, and so are the mattresses but again mattresses were perfectly clean. Stayed in room 209
Thank you for a good night's sleep ?”
