11AM - 7PM
652 Pine Knot Ave Suite #7, Big Bear Lake“One of the cutest, most special vintage toy stores left in the US! The shop owner Gladys (who has been the owner since 1972! She’s in her 90s!) is the sweetest, and super knowledgeable on every toy in the shop. Everything from vintage Barbie to handmade, wooden toys, doll house furniture, miniatures, finger puppets, baseball & sports cards, plushies, collector Bears, and even Melissa & Doug products! She also has some Big Bear labeled merch - perfect for kids of all ages! You should stop in and say hi. A treat for the kids in all of us. She sometimes opens at 11:30 am instead of noon.”
“It's like a Spencer's Gifts (are they still around?) except with far higher quality items and more fun too. We planned to walk right by but a shirt in the window caught my eye. An hour later I think we saw only half of what they sell and I left with bag on hand.If you're strolling around the village, be sure to stroll right in their door. Great fun.”
“Have found so many beautiful Christmas items at the shop. Everything from Department 56 to European style items. The shop always makes me smile since I love Christmas”
“This is an awesome shoppe. Stop by and say hi, you'll be amazed. Remember that Big Bear is primarily a Conservative run town and this particular store's owner acts like the patriot we're all supposed act like. She questions authority. That's the job of every .. single .. patriot in the US. Get me some eye patches! 2 at least!! Arggghhh!!”
“Great little shop! 20ish different tiny shops all in one location. They have a ton of variety from clothes, trinkets, decor, sports memorabilia, knives, toys, etc. You won't find anything high end but it's a great spot to let the kids explore a bit and find something for cheap. I've bought from here several times (snacks/treats), sports team socks for my son and mother in law, an insulated mug, a cool handmade coffee cup, etc. Love to support local business and this is a great hidden gem in the village.”
