Recently finished remodeling my house and used Westside Tile for my major finishes and tile. Needless to say, I was beyond impressed with their professionalism, product quality, and selection. Their showroom is really set up beautifully. And, their location was great. I mostly dealt with Mathew and he came to my site and went over the details of my job with me and my interior designer. I can't begin to say how grateful I am. I went to their other location too, and I'll be leaving a review for there too.

Beautiful selection of tiles but staff is quite snooty. I walked in, said hello, asked if I can look around. A lady (I know her name but will withhold here) appeared behind me to offer help, which I thought was a nice gesture. But it turned out to be disingenuous. I wanted to take my time browsing around but she seemed a bit rushed and asked me a couple of quick questions over my voice. Her demeanor made me feel rushed myself so I just pointed to the first tile that caught my eye. After providing me a single quote, she must have come to a certain conclusion about me and basically told me I won't be finding what I'm looking for here and to go to some other place that is more suitable for my "price range." And quickly walked away to go back to her computer desk. I spent the next few seconds attempting to look around some more but I realized by this point, I lost all appetite to give this place any of my business anymore. Obviously one can come up with all kinds of excuses for this kind of arrogance and underhanded insult, or simply be in denial mode, but the fact remains that whatever it is that was said and signals given, made me walk away cringing with disgust. This was my third visit and while I still managed to give them my business last time, I did feel an air of arrogance each time, although not to this level previously. I will not be coming back here and certainly will not be recommending this place to my neighbor who is redoing her home, or my brother who is looking to renovate his entire medical center to make it nice for his patients. By the way, I hopped in my car and found another place not too far away that was respectful and genuinely helpful without judging. Thanks for pushing me out of your store.

I agree wholeheartedly with the comments made by people who said they entered the store and were completely ignored. A sales person walked past me with no greeting or inquiry re assistance. A man sat at a desk typing on a computer and never addressed me. I had to ask where I could locate a certain tile. I don't understand how they stay in business with such atrocious "customer service ". With so much competition there is no need to return. Ever.

I had to do a complete bathroom remodel for my cabin in the mountains. I was able to get both floor and wall tiles with Westside Tiles through the recommendation of my designer. Fred walked me thru everything and helped me every step of the way. Whether I needed help with the many caulk and grout colors, or I needed an option on tile trims, he was always so knowledgeable and kind when dealing with me. Anytime I had a question, whether it was in person, over-the phone, or in an e-mail, he would always respond in a timely manner and with utmost professionalism. Oh, and Fred would always offer to help me carry things back to my car. Thank you Fred and Westide Tiles for helping me make my bathroom so effortlessly beautiful!

Linda was a great help even though very busy. We knocked out the coordinating tiles in an hour. Every promise made was kept. The selection of tiles is amazing even though some are not in stock due to Covid caused shortages. My bathroom will look amazing. Had to make an extra trip for the right size Shlutter (love that word) but Linda helped me track that down too. Appreciate everything !

No refund has been issued and I am now contesting with my credit card company. When the tile I ordered wasn't in your store when promised, I did pursue others but it wasn't that they didn't want to sell it to me, the tile wasn't available in California which your team never bothered to convey, nor knew that information. Further it was your own employee, Virigina who conveyed to me the misinformation and asked if I wanted to continue with the order after 5 days when I called to pick it up on the day promised. It was me calling other stores and AKDO to find the tile locally from your competitors. Your employees never tried or if she did, never followed up. The original order from Classic had chips which is why it was initially returned to Classic Tile. Classic since had called and apologized unlike your staff who can't give correct information and that too could be partly to AKDO themselves who lack communication themselves. I have also further found blogs on the inconsistency of the quality of the AKDO tile which confirms not purchasing AKDO tile. I have since purchased other tile from two other tile and flooring companies who have now outfitted not just my backsplash, but my laundry room, foyer and now bathroom. It's been problem free, quick and most professional. I will continue to warn others, regarding Westside Tile. Yes logistics are harder these days, but everything I've purchased for my home has arrived early and trouble free and that includes siding, cabinets, flooring and windows!!! Even the contractors have been amazing!!! Classic Tile I would even reconsider. Cosmos is amazing as well as Superior Tile, Marble Bros and Elit. So many wonderful choices. BBB and Consumer Affairs have also been notified.

I bought all my tile here for my pool during covid. They were always wearing a mask when I came in and their tile selection is amazing. The tile arrived quickly and they were very helpful during the process. Highly recommended. Their selection is not cookie cutter. Very please

We are so pleased with our decision to use west side tile to redo our floors and kitchen. The professionalism and customer service were exceptional! Plus, the prices were very reasonable compared to other places. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We drove all the way here from Venice. My husband and I are building a new home on the boardwalk on Venice Beach. We need everything for a 4000+ square foot home and I've always bought from Westside Tile, but never from this location. We walked in and saw 4 salespeople sitting at the desk engaged in conversation. After walking around the store for 15 minutes, not one person said ANYTHING to us! Fed up we finally left. On our way out my husband, who was FUMING, commented about the lack of professionalism. One saleslady commented that she gave us a "wave" when we walked in. I guess salesmanship has reached a new low. What a complete waste of time. Considering the amount of deserted stores in Beverly Hills, you would think they'd be on us fairly quickly, happy to make a sale. Maybe they would have been more attentive had we driven the Rolls Royce instead of our truck. Maybe our casual attire didn't give them the correct impression that we actually had money to spend. Hopefully when they see this review they'll look up the price of houses on the boardwalk. Maybe not. I believe every customer that walks into your establishment should be welcomed and treated with kindness and respect. Personally, I won't be coming back here EVER! Hopefully the one in the San Fernando valley (where we have made purchases), will welcome us back.
