I don't write many Yelp reviews, good or bad reviews, but I had such great service at this particular Wells Fargo branch that I had to say something. I couldn't stop myself. I went into this particular Wells Fargo branch with some documents that were literally about 40 years old: I had received these financial documents in connection with getting an honorable discharge from the Navy after serving in the Vietnam conflict. I wanted to deposit these documents as a credit to my Wells Fargo checking account. Way back in the Vietnam days, the Navy had this informal savings program for Vietnam vets, some of whom vets were so happy to be finished with Vietnam that they were getting drunk a little bit too frequently, if you know what I mean. The cheesy government slogan was "Give your money to a banker, not a bartender." Anyway, today I was trying to deposit these old, old certificates into my Wells Fargo checking account. (These certificates were on what used to be called "IBM cards." Those were the cards with all the holes in them. Nobody uses them anymore.) To get to the point, it turns out that my 40 year IBM cards were deteriorated to the point that they were basically impossible for ANY electronic device to read. Here is where two of the branch employees jumped in and worked very hard, nonstop, for about an hour, manually transmitting the information on my old IBM cards to the federal government so that I could have the money from my Vietnam days deposited. To complete the job, they had to try several different approaches and telephonically consult with other banking gurus. I had no idea what they were doing but they were working feverishly. The point here is that these two bank employees could have EASILY simply told me that they were very sorry, but the cards were unreadable and that I would have to contact the US government to figure out how to get paid for them. If they had done that, I would NOT have felt that they were treating me poorly. These two employees, whom I have forever lumped together and called "WELLS FARGO TEAM ALPHA" are named Lena and Julio. I could be wrong about their job titles, but I think Lena is something like an assistant manager and Julio is the branch manager. In my humble opinion, they are the banking equivalent of a couple of Navy SEALS. Wells Fargo needs a lot more employees like that.

Quite frankly, I am furious. If I could rate you 6 stars, I would, thats how mad I am. I went into the bank yesterday looking for a $40 million dollar loan to make my new real estate development. They said no just because I have "bad credit" and "no business experience". Answer me this, how do I get the business experience if no one will loan me $40 million dollars? You're not seeing the big picture. I'm naming the development "Sherlock Homes" and I'm putting the elementary school on Watson Street. It's a can't miss idea but Bill, your loan officer, lacks imagination and couldn't see a great idea if it bit him on the face.

Time to call out the big banks who closed while the small banks staid open. Wells Fargo still closed on Beverly drive and no branch open on Saturday. Avoid.

I love this bank. Since they have opened their doors, they have been warm and friendly, helpful and smiling. I avoid all other branches because I feel so at home at my neighborhood branch. Svetlana sets the tone. She is a wonderful manager!

Very convenient. The tellers are always friendly and helpful. Today I needed a bank check...and the manager, Hugo, was kind enough to waive the $5.00 fee. Gestures like that are never forgotten. Thank you, Hugo! And Janel!

Do not open a new account here or rely on any information given to you by Rick, who opens and closes accounts. Despite the warm greeting by the charming bank manager Svetlana and Rick's confident efficient friendly facade, they do not stand behind the info on Wells Fargo website, check their work or cop to their own personal errors, let alone apologize or make restitution. They seem to think having you sit there endlessly while they call various departments to check why their inputs are not going through when they should or can't be stopped when they should be is a service or favor to you, not the additional inconvenience it really is. Please note that Yelp allows positive reviews for Wells Fargo to include the full names of bank personnel but removed my review because it contained Rick's full name. Yelp claims he is like a food service worker who is not generally known by his full name. In fact, Rick gave me his official business card and is presented by Wells Fargo as a professional manager qualified to open and close accounts. Could it be that Wells Fargo flagged this truthful review because it was truthful? As Yelp wrote me when I questioned the positive review below for using the employee's full name "We're writing to let you know that we've evaluated Kirsten V.'s review of Wells Fargo Bank that you recently reported. Based on what we can see in the review, the use of names does not appear to violate our Content Guidelines, but we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We generally allow the use of full names in situations where a service provider is likely commonly identified by or commonly shares his or her full name. " Guess there are different standards when Wells Fargo reports to a review than when a typical customer/consumer does?

One of the worst services I have ever experienced at any Wells Fargo Branch in my life. You would think being in Beverly Hills you would get at least decent service but far from that. I went in to speak with a banker regarding my account. I was out of the country for 3 months therefore I was not able to use my debit card and got charged $10.00 a month, total of $30.00 I asked him if he could do anything with the charges. Instead of trying to help me with that, he is more focused about trying to sell me Merchant Services for my business. I kindly told me I have been with BOFA and not interested in Merchant Services with Wells Fargo Bank. He raises his voice to the Merchant Services guy on the other side he was like did you hear that he is with BOFA. Very Very Very unprofessional. Anyhow he gives me my debit card and ID then asks for it again. He goes into the system says he can credit you for $7.00 for the 3 months hahaha. I told him don't worry about it its no big deal. Then he asks me again if I am interested in Merchant Services with Wells Fargo Bank. I tell him in a nice voice again I am not interested as I am very happy with all my business banking to be done at BOA. I tell him again I use Wells Fargo bank for a few minor transaction and I am not interested. The merchant services guy smiles at me and I walk out. I went in for something different this tedious process took over 15 minutes. maybe more. Will I return this to branch never, do i recommend to others nope. they seemed way to desperate to sell me instead of trying to solve my original problem. STAY AWAY!!!!

Horrible experience with this location. The people at the windows very good, the gentleman sitting at a desk, second from the windows on Beverly dr, what a horrible customer service and experience he provides, he is rude and disrespectful to women. And the parking boy, oh boy, This location seems they hired just about anyone without regards or experience or minimal education and by that I mean cero knowledge of customer service. I left shaken by the horrendous experience. This is a first for a wells fargo very bad experience.

This branch of Wells Fargo advertises as a foreign exchange service center. I planned ahead as I needed money for a trip to China. Not only did they not get the money, they made every excuse and kept on saying they called me. I was never called. This is the second time this happened to me. The woman in front of me needed money for Japan and the same thing happened to her. One of the tellers gave me the information for a foreign exchange place down the road. Don't bother with the service here, listen to their own advice, go someplace else.

Our family has had yet another amazing experience with our family trusted banker : Jon-Michael LaRacco . He is always professional, efficient and pleasant to deal with. We have even trusted him with the opening of our children's bank accounts and soon to be opening of our children's 529 College Fund accounts. Honestly, could not give a higher recommendation .

At times I have not had the best service at many of the Wells Fargo branches. however.. I was referred to this branch in Beverly Hills, S. Beverly Dr. What a difference..as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly staff, I explained that I had an issue that was not resolved and was referred to the manager, Svetlana Vodopyanova,,(hopefully spelled correctly). She took the time to listen and resolve my issues, very professional as well as patient and truly asset to WF. see Svetlana and her team if you need great customer service!! 5-stars!!
