They have the most exciting swim short designs and patterns. We came by this past weekend and decided to get two. The staff was very friendly and professional and went the extra mile to make sure we were able to get exactly what we wanted (involved a follow up phone call and shipping the two items directly to our house). Highly recommend.

I wanted to buy a bikini for my 13 year old daughter. We were helped by a very friendly male employee who kept himself in the background when she tried different models in the changing room.

I wanted to leave a review for the Vilebrequin Santa Monica store but they are too afraid to add this Santa Monica store to yelp because of the lousy customer service. The manager there has some type of mental problem the store is very dirty and unkept. My boyfriend wanted to purchase a pair of shorts that the last pair were on the mannequin but the shorts had all kinds of food stains ? Mind you this is luxury swimwear.. the manager wanted us to order another pair through her online but we declined. This is a poor reputation of Vilebrequin. I've shopped here for many years and this Santa Monica location is the WORST location beware !!

Beautiful place professional atmosphere everything is clean and organized and brightly lit the parking is questionable in the employees are exceptional the apparel is incredibly enhanced by all the stuff that you can find at this location.

Sales people were friendly attentive and knowledgeable about all of the newest designs, and had good suggestions. You get what you pay for here but actually one of their better retail stores.

If you've shopped on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, you know how expensive things can get. This place is no where near an exception to that rule. The prices for a single bathing suit is outrageous, but their quality and designs are some of the best you can find when your shopping for swimwear for your man. If you know swimwear history, then you'll be aware that the founder of Vilebrequin was apparently eating at an Italian restuarant in Saint-Tropez and he designed the swim shorts based off the surfer's trunks and created a whole new style of swimwear far different from the popular swim briefs and he made them out of spinnaker canvas, the kind you use for sailing. In another version I heard he made them out of the checkered red and white table cloth from the Italian restaurant... Great, now i want some Italian food! Anyway, though the prices are steep, they do make impressive gifts. I bought my brother one and every time he wears it, he tells me he still gets compliments on them. This is a company that is not afraid to use vibrant colors and prints. They do sell other items as well from men's boxers to polo shirts and towels, etc. The downside though is that since they are a European company, their return policy is very different. Only some US based companies give refunds; almost all European companies only allow exchanges. That last one is a deal breaker, so beware: This is not a place to be reckless with your money - if you spend more than you should have, once the receipt has been printed, there's no way to get your money back.
