I love the cut and highlights she did for me today!! It surpassed my high expectations!! Then she explained how to achieve even healthier hair. She is truly outstanding!!

Verina shorted my payment by $200 on a Painting Job. If you are a contractor or handyman and do business here make sure that you get the contract and a cash or deposit check upfront to avoid shenanigans and bargaining down. If you are a Handyman get cash at the end of the work day to avoid any miscommunication or misunderstandings on compensation.Im a part-time Handyman and Real Estate investor, I have a few clients that ive been working with for years and I generally do not take on new clients as I dont need the work and I dont have the time. A client recommended me to Verina for some work that she needed done. I generally work based off of trust and an understanding of what generally accepted handyman rates are. I also charge by the hour because im not a contractor.Verina wanted me to appy a special EMF shielding paint to a large room, and then paint it. Easy enough. We go from 1 coat to 2 coats, then it has to be grounded, so im climbing underneath the house now, I had go to Lowes to get the correct grounding wire and grounding clamps, I had to go buy the paint and then we had to add 2 coats, She needed some moulding and the Moulding that she needed was sold out in the Lowes around the corner, so I had to go to the lowes in Hawthrone by SpaceX which had the correct moulding. So then I had to paint it and the EMF paint is Black so I had to apply two coats of Paint and Primer.So after im almost done, she starts nitpicking the job (which looked amazing), and saying that the paint wasnt hiding it well (Behr Marquis Paint Excellent Paint), and she didnt like the texture (standard roller). I told her that she is seeing the reflection of the black ceiling on the wet paint and that after the paint dries and the ceiling is painted it will look fine, if she wanted a smoother texture I could have used a ultra smooth roller or use my paint gun, but these are things you discuss before, not when you are almost finished. After that exchange I started getting a weird feeling, so I decided to ask her to pay for the work that I had completed up to that point. I didint want to finish and have her start complaining about the job and not pay me.Welppppp as soon as I told her the price $150 1st day 6 hrs, $250 2nd day 10hrs, $150 3rd Day 6hrs, $250 4th day 10hrs. She told me that she " wanted to talk about it, and that I was slow and I was *Dilly Dallying* around, and she didnt want to pay that". It was 11pm at night, and I had put in 2 days around 10hrs and 2 days 6hrs. She is telling me that Im slow, and that she felt I was expensive. She said that her "contractor would have been faster and cheaper". I said "why didnt you call them"? she said that "he was busy". I said "that thats not my problem" I felt very uncomfortable arguing with her in her house by ourselves so I told her to take off $50 a day and call someone else to finish the job because "I dont work for people who dont want to pay me". So I went the next day and put in another 4 or 5 hrs touching up a few of the walls that I had started (which obviously I wasnt paid for, and didnt really want to do, but I have a certain level of Pride in my workmanship which compelled me to go back). I don't work for people who don't pay me what im owed, so I did not finish the job, I left the ceiling, and 1 wall for her other contractor to finish.

Verina has literally restored the vibrancy and health of my hair! Other organic salons have yet to achieve the results she gets. Color remains shiny weeks later! I highly recommend!!

I would never recommend this salon to anyone. I made an confirmed appointment the day before with the owner. She told me to come in at 11:15 since she has an appointment at 12pm and was going to fit me in. She also told me to send pics of my hair which I did and which color I wanted. I called her the morning of and she said she didn’t remember but to still come. Mid you, I just got out of surgery the week before and I woke up earlier for this appointment and it is a whole process and everything just to get out of bed & to get ready. I also had to get an Uber there. Once there she told me she didn’t remember and forgot. I told her I just spoked with her yesterday and confirmed her number and texts I sent her and she confirmed the number. She then told me she couldn’t do it since she already has another appointment that is coming at 11:30. I told her when I spoke to her yesterday she told me she didn’t have anyone until 12pm so she must of scheduled someone After she spoke with me. Did she consider me at all or anything I had to go to to just get there? No not at all. How inconsiderate and heartless to my opinion. I could never do or treat someone like that. Since I was a new client and she had a repeated customer on their way, she decided to take her instead of me. When I tried talking to her, the other lady who came for her appointment was very rude to me and told me, “Can you not talk to her and let her do my hair.” Which was a older lady who should of had known better who looked like she was in her late 50’s. I’ve never been treated like this from Any salon in my life and I am very disappointed especially from a business owner. Take your money to someone else who has compassion and respect for others. She did not try to fix her wrong or mistake and instead put it on me. Not to mention I was in a risky 12 hour surgery that was needed to save my life. God sees everything and I’m a big believer in karma. Have a blessed day

I found this Organic Salon via Yelp, and Verina is awesome! Her prices are reasonable and straightforward. Plenty of metered street parking on Robertson if you go early enough. Organic which is gentler and better for hair.

I've been back to Verina many times now and always love the results. People can't believe I got the color I got from all natural hair products. I have numerous allergies and the natural dye is much easier to tolerate than harsh chemicals. Verina will give you the exact color and cut you want.

I love Verina Organic Salon!! I learned that organic hair color and products don't fade as much, there's no chemical smell and the biggest thing: it lasts longer than "regular/traditional color". Bonus: it's an intimate, beautiful salon and Verina who owns it, is a dream! Such attention devoted to each customer. This is the salon of your dreams!!!! Love this place.

I went for full color. I told her exactly what I wanted and she delivered. Quiet atmosphere. I loved the end result. If you are into gossip and chit chatting kind of hair salon this is not for you.

Verina is amazing with organic color. She did exactly what we talked about and my hair looks better than it has in years. The Balyage highlights and color are gorgeous and I've had so many compliments! Her products are also amazing and was introduced to a new line that I love. Highly recommend!!
