Many many years ago I was just a 19 year old who was still new to the timepiece and jewelry industry, having found their original store in the back of the indoor mall I remember how professional their representatives were back then with my quirky questions and meticulous eye, a couple years later after that in my early 20s I bought one finally my Omega Seamaster which has traveled many places with me. Funny thing I never bought a watch when I was a teenager I was just what I would consider a “tire kicker” today now that I’m a diamond setter, goldsmith and appraiser with my own business, yet they were so nice and patient with me which I’ll never forget to this day.

Second Time Around at this point is simply a Beverly Hills / Los Angeles institution and we’re frankly lucky to have a shop like this around. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They’re not trying to get one over on you like so many places. For watch lovers, oases like these are so essential, and unfortunately, rare.

On the hunt for a vintage Cartier tank, I knew to come here from their stellar reputation in the area and I was not disappointed. The team was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and big for me - I could tell they were watch nerds, too. They knew what they were talking about and made me feel very comfortable to purchase a watch from them. When I had a follow up question about a week after buying, they couldn't have been nicer on the phone or more helpful. I will definitely be back as they have an incredible collection.

Awesome repair/service for my Omega Sea Master that wasn't winding and routine maintenance for my Rolex Thunderbird! Thank you Jon and your team for the timeliness of getting it done before the holiday season. Very comfortable transaction as Jon explained what my watches needed in terms I could understand. Great customer service! It's a bit of a drive for me, but the customer service, honesty, knowledge and skill and workmanship; it's absolutely worth the drive to have it done right. I'm happy I now have Jon as my go-to watch guy.

I needed battery replacements for several Timex wristwatches. Leo was helpful, provided seating for a disabled customer (me), and the work was done in a few minutes.Timex or Rolex, the service is perfect, and if you prefer to purchase a second-hand Rolex instead of fixing an old Timex, they'll also help you with that.

This place is the best. They have an amazing selection of vintage watches, and they are pleasure to chat with as well. I brought in a watch to get looked at by the watchmaker and he got me sorted out very quickly and for a very reasonable price. Go here for your vintage watch needs!

Fantastic company. After speaking with Jon numerous times I purchased a 1964 Rolex that I love. This is my first vintage watch and Jon and Amare were incredibly patient and helpful as their shared knowledge and worked with me to understand how the watch works and appreciate how older pieces differ from modern ones. I bought the watch on a Thursday and it arrived at my door in Boston the very next day with a handwritten note, a pamphlet on how to care for it and the clear impression that they are professionals who stand by their product. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vintage watch and will certainly use them if I decide to buy again.

Incredible. If you're looking for a vintage watch, STAWC should be at the top of your list. Not only was the watch I purchased (a '40s Breitling) perfectly described on the site, it was to me the next next day, carefully packaged with a handwritten note and a pamphlet with tips on caring for a vintage watch. Truly one of the best purchasing experiences I've had.
