I was there on 1/1/23 due to feeling very unwell, high heart rate, and dizzy/blurry vision. Besides the triage nurse that annoyed me bc she's talking and expecting me to explain what's going on as they take my blood pressure, everyone was amazing. My nurse was awesome, kept me informed and even brought me a sandwich when i told her i was hungry. Dr. G was kind, compassionate, and smart. He listened to me and ordered a number of tests to find out what was going on. He listened well.

Typing this up but what else am I going to do while spending WAY too much time on hold with their atrocious billing department. I have endured 2 very loud "YAAAAAAWWWWWWNNNNN" from the billing rep I'm speaking with. SHE IS OVER IT. This place is a total fraud. Just call them up and tell them you can't pay. Run them into the ground because they deserve it. I have a health condition because of their billing department. I'm ded. Got a bill from Cedars? Just don't pay it.

We will never go back to this hospital . It was advertised as a great Hospital but their ER service is disgusting. I accompanied my son there for severe frontal headache . He is 30 years old and looks healthy but that day we almost called 911 because of the severity of his headache. We reached the ER at 9am and he was evaluated and asked us to be seated . And we never heard from them till I approached the admission window . My son waited to receive an urgent medical service and waited for many hours. After 8 hours of waiting and not called we decided to leave. Before deciding to leave I approached the head nurse staff and questioned why my son hasn't been called. She told me that my son is young and looks healthy. I asked for a pain relief but she said that my son has to be admitted officially to receive treatment. My son had a headache for 8 freaking hours. I am a retired RN of 35 years of service . This made me more angry and disappointed. My brother in law also died at Cedars Sinai Hospital. He received a bad care. That made our experience very traumatic . This hospital is over advertised, as a place for Hollywood people, the rich and famous. Their service sucks! Never Again!

My friend was in severe pain after surgery, instead of giving her meds they made her take a covid test, she had already took before surgery and waited 6hrs to give her meds. She's never done drugs so that's not an issue. She has been crying in pain, and I'm not sure if they did something wrong for her to be in this much pain. Please pray for her.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!THE MOST HORRIBLE "medical " facility I have ever been to. They have no idea what they're doing. No nurse or medical facilitator at front desk!Brought my daughter in- explained to the clueless girl at front that it's Urgent and she's going to throw up more and about to faint. She said to hold on while she goes to find a paper bag!! Meanwhile , my daughter threw up all over the floors and almost lost consciousness. Finally, a so called Dr came and asked them to find a wheelchair!! After I complained about them not having a medical nurse upfront for urgent care.. I heard the nurse and "Dr" call me a b**** as they walked away on the hallway!!!!AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!

This review is regarding Michael D. Harris, MD. Worst scam ever. To see an endocrinologist the wait for an appointment usually is a while but with him you have to wait for at least three months. In addition to waiting, the front desk makes you freak out about appointments because he is "so busy and booked 3 to 6 months in advance..." Once I finally came to my appointment at 7ish am, no one was there but him and I... I waited in the waiting room forever and then finally I saw him and he sat with me for 10 minutes and told me I needed all these tests and just walked out of the room. Awkwardly, I sat in the room until finally a nurse came in and took my blood for tests that I had no idea for what and then left. No communication, nothing. So after the tests, I went to check out at the front desk and the two women that were there, were talking to each other and completely ignored me. Then when I finally got there attention, they were super rude and dismissive and haggled me to make another appointed before he books up. Not only was this the worst experience, I got served with a huge bill for all the labs that he did not go through with me even though I called continuously to find out what was going on. I could not even make an appointment with him to find out my results, because "he was so booked." Mind you when I did go in the beginning, I never saw anyone in the waiting room and when I left, I also did not see anyone in the waiting room... All in all, WORST experience of my life, no answers, rude people, and no diagnosis but a huge medical bill that "did" go through my insurance but was not covered nor was told that it was not covered.

They are all about the money! Had gastric bypass here that has ruined me for life, left me on a full time feeding tube and unable to keep down FOOD for life.... lifelong blood clots Over 18 blood transfusions, chronic anemia, pancreatic disease, liver disease due to long term use of Pic lines, doctors lies, unbelievable denial of HMO doctor prescribed procedures that HMO director DR. Greene refuses to allow, Hundreds of sepsis and blood infections, which have caused me to hospitalized at cedars over the last few years while my two young children have watched their mother as they have grown up As they have now have their own issues. Yes I am blessed to be alive, I am no longer on any opiates, but still have pain each and every day and deal with anorexia, and malnutrition becuse of what they did to me! And the daily situation of not being able to some days get out of bed and not be angry at this hospital for the lingering pain and teta that they have caused me and my family. It's heartbreaking mostly not for me, but to look at my children and still wish to be here every day to make sure that after almost 18 yers of abuse and malpractice and continued malpractice that I continue to stay positive for my husband and my boys. I hope they ref this and change their ways and test patients with the dignity that they deserve. Thank you to those nurses who always were there for me and especially the three docs that never let go of my hands!

At 12:30am, I was desperate to see an ent during this pandemic- I had gotten the worst sinus infection of my entire life that has lasted months and called cedars thinking I'd be disappointed and still in pain like my last visit to the ER but I was in such serious pain, i decided to try anyway. A couple weeks ago I had the same issue and went to USC Verdugo Hills by my house and I saw a doctor on a tablet, they addressed my problems vaguely with no concern for my actual pain and wanted me out as fast as possible. they didn't help me at all, didn't take my sinus infection seriously and basically laughed at my pain and offered me no help. That was not my experience here at cedars. When I got there, the people at the front were empathetic but obviously cautious during this time and gave me the necessary tests to keep everyone safe and make sure I didn't have corona virus before they concluded my sinus infection was just That and brought me to a bed where the doctors and nurses worked hard to figure out the issue, the resolution and gave me a prescription that WORKS! A nasal spray that WORKS! Checked in on me frequently and provided me with the ability to breathe after weeks of headaches, ear aches and pressure that wouldn't stop, along with helping me even though I was drained from working all day, probably a little rude and desperate for a solution late at night. Thank you to everyone who was there on Monday, from the guy who answered the phone when I called crying to the lady who helped me check out at the very end and everyone in-between. Thank you SO much

I just had an MRI without contrast in Cedar-Sanai for my minor back pain, it totally took 15 minutes to finish the service. I received a bill for $2,300 to pay immediately! They charge my health insurance for $6,000 (before discount) They never told me upfront for their expensive service which should be Max at $500.00! so to me, this is a big-time Fraud..! People just be careful with this center they will send you very fat bills after you receive any medical service there . !! Watch out..!!! I will never go there!

I love my Doctor at this organization but the administrative functions are sub-par to any medical establishment I have EVERY experienced. It is literally impossible to get through on the phone. Upwards of 40 minute plus wait times. I inevitably hang up as I can't imagine how much longer it will be! HIRE MORE PEOPLE!!! If I didn't have a direct email to my doctor I would have to find a new one.

Longest waits ever. Asked the same questions numerous times. Very polite but due to a computer issue and a new girl working i had to wait close to an hour for a simple TB test. I've waited this long before but not while watching 5 people walk in and out.

Dr. Kosari is a TERRIBLE, CARELESS, INCOMPETENT surgeon. Do NOT trust him. I've made that mistake twice, so I'm not sure which of us is the bigger idiot. I've tried to summarize my experience with him below, but happy to describe in more detail through message for those considering a surgery with Dr. Kosari. In 2013, I started to develop an umbilical hernia just above my belly button. It was never that noticeable, but in the spring of 2019, it had grown just enough to always be noticeable to me. I was referred to Dr. Kosari. I thought that the reputation of Cedars-Sinai would hold, but I was wrong. In the examination, Dr. Kosari was friendly, but clearly rushed. He let me know he only had about 10 minutes. I explained I'd had the hernia for a few years and, while seated, he asked me to lift my shirt, briefly touched the belly button (literally for less than a second) where it was visible and that was it for the exam. He said he'd recommend doing the surgery with stitches, not mesh. Knowing nothing about the difference, I trusted his judgment. The day of the surgery, I was a bit tense as this was my first surgery. I was also concerned he had not adequately inspected the hernia (and he had not ordered any type of ultrasound). I waited for about 2 hours and then they took me in to prepare me. When I saw Dr. Kosari before the surgery, I explicitly asked him, "So you are going to be able to fix not only the part below the belly button, but also above it, right?" Dr. Kosari responded, "Yes, don't worry. Once we're in, we'll be able to check it all to see what we're dealing with." I woke up after the procedure and went home. I had the surgery on Friday, Sep 13. I removed the bandage (which was covering the belly button and surrounding area) and showered on Sunday, Sep 15. By Monday, I felt the hernia above my belly button exactly as before the surgery. Panic immediately struck. I called Cedars-Sinai and was able to tell Dr. Kosari's nurse I felt a bulge exactly like the hernia, and she told me to just come in for my checkup in 2 weeks for Dr. Kosari to examine it. When Dr. Kosari examined me, he tried to say there was nothing wrong, or that it was something else (like a result from the surgery or a problem with "skin" being "detached"). I told him, "No...I am 100% sure this is the same hernia I've had...it feels exactly the same." He told me to come back in 4 more weeks after the recovery period "to see if it's still there." That really aggravated me, I left the appointment knowing I still had the hernia, but he wouldn't acknowledge it. At the next appointment, he acknowledged I still had a hernia, but never acknowledged it was because of his carelessness. Compared to the first surgery, he was pushing much more strongly for not operating again. I think it's because it would make him look bad to have to repeat the exact same surgery, but I scheduled a follow up surgery for Dec 3 anyway to get it dealt with once and for all (had already pretty much met my out of pocket max, so thought why not - and couldn't get in to UCLA before the end of the calendar year - book ahead!). On Dec 3, I had the second surgery, and this time we did an ultrasound before the surgery. Again, he did not recommend mesh, just a single stitch he said. This time, I didn't notice the hernia for a few weeks, but could definitely feel a slight bump, which I thought might be the stitch or something. Now, just over 6 weeks since the second surgery, I STILL have the hernia. I can feel it exactly the same as I used to. After one surgery, I'd expect a hernia to be fixed, at least for a few years before it might recur. After TWO surgeries, I would REALLY expect a hernia to be fixed. Now, after spending thousands of dollars, taking months off from the gym for two separate recoveries, and STILL having the problem that was supposed t
