I had a 6-night reservation at the Mosaic Hotel but had to leave on the second day. Despite these issues, I’m giving 3 stars mainly due to the excellent service from Faraz at the front desk and the promise of a refund for the unused nights.
The hotel has its strengths, such as a charming boutique appearance, a convenient location, and a friendly, solution-oriented staff. However, it falls short of a true four-star experience. Despite being reasonably priced, the hotel feels outdated and in need of significant maintenance.
The first room I was assigned on the 4th floor had a strong mold odor and cobwebs in the corners. Moving to a room on the 2nd floor provided some relief, but the smell persisted intermittently, sometimes accompanied by a sewage odor. I believe this issue is related to the carpeting or ventilation system and is even noticeable in the elevators. A major overhaul is desperately needed.
At first, I wondered if I might be overly sensitive to smells, but after checking previous reviews, I discovered that even a year ago, some guests left the hotel for the same reason. I’m left questioning whether the hotel is ignoring this issue or simply hasn’t found a solution.
While the hotel’s prices are slightly lower than the average for the area, it’s still not a budget option, and there are alternatives available. Regardless of price, cleanliness and proper maintenance are basic expectations in any hotel. Lower prices might justify smaller rooms, less luxurious furnishings, or a less central location, but they do not excuse major issues like hygiene. This is not the kind of problem that should be tolerated at any price point.
I moved to another hotel, but the smell was so pervasive that it even lingered on the clothes in my open suitcase. I can only hope that washing will remove it.
Note: This review is pending revision until all refunds are processed.

Although I was traveling alone, I had no problems walking around at night and was able to stay with peace of mind. The room was spacious and sophisticated, and it was conveniently located between Santa Monica and Hollywood.
However, when I made a reservation on a site called DiscountedRoom.com that was introduced on Google Maps, I discovered that the reservation had been canceled without permission the day before my stay. Since then, I have been at a loss as they have not responded properly to my inquiries to the site. Be careful when booking with a third party.

I am so happy to have chosen this hotel for my trip to Beverly Hills. I travelled alone, and wanted a hotel close to Rodeo Drive…this was one of the few options that didn’t have Beverly Hills pricing ?.
This boutique hotel is so cute, clean, safe and well located! I am already planning to come back! The staff is very friendly and polite, the rooms are modern and very well maintained, and it’s walking distance from the famed Rodeo Drive. There is a pool area, a restaurant, and they have an option for parking. If you are renting a car, this is very important because the street parking is for residents only.
I absolutely recommend this hotel and cannot wait to come back!
PS: I had made videos of the room, but they can’t be uploaded here. So the room images are blurry “stills” from the videos.

To be clear, I didnt stay here due to my flight being cancelled, but I did want to provide a review of their service. Due to torrential downpour and winds, I was grounded at JFK unable to make my trip to LA in time. I literally called 1 hour prior to my check-in time from the tarmac to let them know I wasn't going to make it. Vincenzo who took my call was super accomodative and allowed me to cancel penalty free. Any business that is going to be understanding of extenuating circumstances is defintely going to win me over a customer. I'll be staying here on my next trip to LA.

Location & customer service was great! Requested for Housekeeping but they didn't change our sheets for the two nights we stayed. Extra fees like Urban Travel popped up in our bill at the end.

Hubby and I just stayed three nights in a king suite and really enjoyed it. Our rooms were clean and spacious and very modern. Best of all was the lively bar with Bob Dean, an entertaining bartender (you'll make his day if you ask for a "rusty nail"); we really enjoyed chatting with other guests (and some locals) at the bar and at breakfast. The Mosaic is easy walking distance to Rodeo Drive and lots of great restaurants. It is on a very quiet residential street and we enjoyed being able to open the windows .I've given only 4 stars for service because we reported that the TV in our living room had garbled sound after our first night, but no repair was made during the next two days of our stay. That was the only problem we encountered during our otherwise delightful stay.We will certainly return here whenever we visit LA.

BAD BAD BAD! Never again and I don’t recommend this hotel! The room smell so bad, no towels in the room when my husband call to get towels the guy say I’m sorry and I will “try” to give you TOWELS!!! Come on!!! Ridiculous. We arrived at 1am and no towels in the room! They need to do something to clean the room properly and check everything is in order before the guests arrived! Don’t visit this place!

Very cute and clean hotel. Our room was very clean and super cute. My only issue was the paper thin walls. Could hear neighbors as if they were in our room. If cleanliness and updated rooms are important, this checks the box. If noise is an issue, look elsewhere.
