It has always been a positive experience for me. The prices on everything across the board are more than palpable. Where else can you get popcorn under 5.00 ?

It is a cool old theater. I went to the premiere of Sex Positive, a Peter Woodward movie. Very funny and educational for non initiates

2-screen theater that makes independent and foreign films accessible in LA. $8.50 matinee is unbeatable. Trailers are only about 10 min unlike the big chains that make you sit through 20+ min of nonsense.Metered and paid lots off of Doheny Dr.

I like this independently owned theater. generally screen a good variety of films, the snack bar is very reasonably priced, any staff are all friendly. the last movie I saw was a low budget martial arts film, Mayhem, and the star showed up to thank us and did an informal q&A. LA needs more theaters like this one!

Went to watch a movie and the screen was so dark. The entire movie we were watching basically just shadows, really ruining the experience. I asked the attendant if they could check the brightness and she said it looked normal to her…if you could’ve seen it, the screen was basically black in night scenes. Would skip this theater

True arthouse, movie lovers worldwide should visit this fine establishment and enjoy a film or two. Concessions are the best prices in town, by far. Thank you!

Not warm & fuzzy place. Staff uninterested in giving New Movie premiers the advertising & parque attention they deserve

worst theater i've ever been in. i can't believe i drove almost 4 hours round trip and payed money for this garbage to see one of my favorite films get absolutely hacked. the movie skipped at least 4 times. the screen wasn't wide enough so a lot of the movie was projected onto the wall which ruined the experience. the speaker was broken and was buzzing and ringing really loud the whole time. there were no lights in the entire theater. the ac was broken so the theater was kept at freezing conditions. never come here.

Really grateful that this theater exists to show independent films and hold special events. Spaces like this are what make Los Angeles unique. Is this place understaffed and outdated, yes. All of which adds to the charm of a local independent film experience. Excited to return and I hope others will also.

Small theater. Yes, could use some updating, but everything is clean and in working order. Good beer selection, snacks, and drinks.

Some of these negative reviews are really head scratchers. You want some kind of ritzy hoo haa go to a corporate theater, this is an old school three screen that shows a variety of INDEPENDENT films. Yes, the staff may be surly. Yes, the concessions ain't the best. Yes, the seats are old. BUT you can see independent cinema here so. You can park on the other side of Doheny.
