The old Saks for women at 9600 Wilshire is closed - the new, at 9570, occupies the old Barney's of New York location. It is interesting going in there and up the wide stairs to experience Saks versus Barney's, but over all, this is a much better location. The old building was dated and had narrower and smaller levels as you went higher up. The new building provides the bright new Barney's look, to the old Saks. Everything is here for the ladies - all the designers, and in a much brighter more open venue.

I was so excited to come and shop in their new location. The store is absolutely beautiful and the selection is A+. The reason for the one star review is that the service is absolutely atrocious. The sales associates are all standing around chitchatting amongst themselves and don't even bother asking if you need help or looking for anything, and this goes for every single department. I started off in the Shoes and found several that I was interested in trying on, but could not find anyone to assist me. I then went upstairs to the ladies clothing or I practically had to beg two people to order two items for me needless to say I will not be coming back, I went to Neiman Marcus and several of the boutique stores on rodeo and shopped there instead. Very sad that you have a beautiful store. You have an awful lot of sales people but they're not focused on helping the customer.

There is no option to select 0 stars so I had to put one. I am so disappointed in Saks Customer Service. I've been spending at saks all of my life and last year I bought shirts for my husband online. We live in san diego so they where bought online, we went to the store in LA to change sizes and they did not let us! They did not return our money or give us store credit. We only wanted to change sizes. They woman that worked there was very unhelpful, didn't do anything for us and just said there was nothing to do. What a rip off! I'm never spending there again! So disappointed!

Saks Fifth Avenue exudes luxury in every aspect, from its high-end fashion offerings to its elegant environment. Amidst its present relocation, the store maintains its reputation as a haven for upscale shopping. The clientele consists of beautiful people, reflecting the allure of the brand. The staff, exemplified by Gilbert, are not only kind but also knowledgeable, as Gilbert expertly guided me through the cologne selection process, ultimately leading me to discover the exquisite Percival fragrance. Saks Fifth Avenue continues to epitomize sophistication and impeccable service.

Melissa at the La Mer desk - wow! Came in to the new location today with my boyfriend and she went above and beyond to make us happy! I've been a loyal customer since '03 and I've never encountered anyone like her! Also really like Raghib in shoes.

I have been a Saks customer for over 20 yrs. I've spent thousands at Saks. Sadly, since it was taken over by Capitol One it has gone downhill. My daughter was in the Beverly Hills store and brought 2 dresses that were still in the boxes to try on at the store, one $1500, the other $700. First thing said to her was "why do you want to try on here? Why didn't you try on at home?" Next, she was told "the fitting rooms are on ____floor" THEY WERE NOT. She could not get ONE salesperson to help her find a gown. I will NOT be using Saks anymore. Customer service is just not available to customers. I'll spend my $30,000/yr at Neiman Marcus, where I get help with a smile, and gratitude.

Customer service is not helpful. My order is almost 3 weeks late at this point and no actual update has been provided. Order a birthday gift and thought I had plenty of time, but now the birthday has passed and had to buy a new gift.

Super poor customer service. Tired assortment of clothes, no excitement in visual displays. Sales attendants ignore you and gossip amongst themselves in the corner as you browse. Asked sales person at the shoe counter for a size and she brushed me off stating she "was too busy". Kept assisting other customers (some of which came AFTER I asked for help.) Very obvious she wasn't willing to assist me, never asked for backup, never bother to follow up. Just sad, had to flag down a manager from another floor after 30 minutes of waiting. Super sad to see Sak's downfall, total bummer.

I purchased my first Chanel at Saks! It was a good experience. Geoff the SA was super helpful and patient with me while trying out all the bags. I ended up going with the Small Caviar Classic and the Maxi Caviar classics. I just love how all the luxury brands are all in one place. Great retail therapy!

First time coming to Saks Beverly Hills and had the best customer service! I usually like Saks because they have some good discounts during the holidays. I came to return something I purchased online and I was seriously lost coming into the store. I had no idea where anything was and a very nice gentleman informed me that online returns was downstairs (take the escalators down right in front of Gucci). Downstairs is only online returns and when you are done, take the escalators back up to the first floor. Then I went over to the next Saks building to find something in the kids section on the 4th floor. Katherine was the only person on that floor and she was already with a customer but she made sure to check in on me whenever she could. She was so friendly and never made me feel like I needed to buy anything. She told me all the deals and incentives they had going on and even offered to have something shipped to me for free since it was not available in store. I was surprised that this location had a really big sale selection with a lot of sizes available. There were so many good pieces at such great value. All around, really good experience here and would definitely come back. If you purchase anything at Saks and have a receipt for proof, you get 2 hours free parking in the Saks parking lot, which is super convenient. If you dont want to park there, there's also street parking but please beware of the street parking signs. Some parts are permit parking only.

Wanna be treated like a second class citizen? This is your place to go! I feel like their hiring process is based off who could be the most insufferable and incompetent person. Associates will ignore you unless you're walking around with five Chanel bags around your neck. Not to mention their terrible quality. Bought a ysl bag here and it broke in 2 days the first time I wore it out luckily I was able to exchange but the quality you get is most definitely not what you've paid for. Go to Neiman...you'll get treated like a human there

Horrible customer service. The main woman was straight up rude and claimed an item was used when it wasn't (quality was that bad that she must have thought it had to have been used). Management needs to terminate this person's employment.
