INSANE MARK UP on pieces and HORRIBLE customer service. She was trying to sell these Dior pants for 12.2k while the market price was 2-3k (by the way lily I found and bought a new pair for 1.8k haha!!) . She mocks you by saying too bad there’s non available on the market and proceeded to block me. I feel so sad for you you just be needing money badly to mark up your prices so unreasonable high like this! STAY AWAY!!!

Nessled in between a nail salon and office building, door locked. Lights off. I rang the doorbell only to be greeted by someone who looked so bothered by the sight of a potential customer. I doubted my intuition and complied to her abrupt order of wearing an N95 mask. As I entered the store I was given explicit instructions on HOW to move items on the hanger along the rack. The owner stared at me with her assistant behind her smirking and commenting something under his breath. I thought I would just explain what I was looking for, only to be told that there is NOTHING in my size in the entire store !!!!!! At this point I was wondering if it was because I wasn't dressed nice enough ? Because of my brown skin color ? Because I was wearing a necklace representing my religious belief ? I am not overweight so I couldn't understand why I was being treated this way. She told me to go to the Beverly Connection where I would FIT in better !!!!! I decided to cut my losses and leave before I broke down in tears. As I'm leaving I hear her say "This store is for celebrities! Tell all your friends in West Hollywood " I thought about making a police report but figured I wasted enough time and energy on this matter. If I could give this store zero stars I would !!!!!! Money laundering is the process of concealing the origin of money, obtained from illicit activities such as drug trafficking, corruption, embezzlement or gambling, by converting it into a legitimate source. It is a crime in many jurisdictions with varying definitions. It is usually a key operation of organized crime. Wikipedia

The store owner Rita is awful. Took my friend there to look at dresses for her engagement party. Unfortunately, my friend left in tears. Rita had the audacity to tell her that, high end designers don't cater to bigger sizes! What the hell! I didn't want to make matters worse so we left but someone should take a mirror for Rita. She must be bitter and mentally unstable to hurt customers. Too bad her two masks don't work as a muzzle because no one should have to be fat shamed especially by another woman!!!! Shameful By the way, my friend is absolutely gorgeous! She found the most beautiful outfit online.

I walked in today to shop and buy a gown, and instead I was greeted with complete disrespect, discrimination and racism. I was shocked. The old woman with the Payless shoes (owner) spoke extremely condescending to me and the old man (probably husband of owner) was following me around the store as though I was going to do something illegal. Terrible service. Rude. Bigots. She started to say to me, "you don't look like you can afford anything in here", little does she know. Anyway, I don't advise supporting such a business. Very trashy people.

Rita and Michael were gracious and knowledgeable, and they have an amazing, world class collection. I have met nuns and queens with less grace and composure and somehow, I felt incredibly welcome and comfortable whilst surrounded by decades worth of era defining couture. Worth a visit regardless of how far you have to drive.

Rita's knowledge of fashion along with her never ending desire to procure the finest gowns ever made, has put her in a class by herself. However, after knowing her for at least 30 years I am shocked and at a great financial loss because she refuses to return some of the clothing that belonged to my dearly departed mother. She says she never wants to speak with me again and hangs up the phone rather than simply giving the pieces back, or paying me.Lily told me for close to three (3) years that my amazing museum worthy KRIZIA dress was on hold for one of her clients. "ON HOLD FOR THREE YEARS". I am not unreasonable to want my dress returned to me or be paid for it. Granted the Covid-19 epidemic made business difficult, the excuse has been worn thin.I have attached a photo of the dress herein.Another phenomenal gown by Karl Lagerfeld for CHLOÉ circa 1980 was returned to me missing the zipper. At first when I went to pick it up, all the beading had been removed and was hanging on a separate hanger. When I said that was unacceptable, she had the beading put back on, and failed to mention that she had removed the zipper. It is a haute couture "ECLAIR" brand metal tooth zipper. Without the original zipper it lessens the value of my gorgeous gown. It doesn't matter how beautiful a store is when their integrity is in question, and one can't trust them.Intimidating and bullying me will not make me back off. I want my things returned and/or to be paid in full.

This is the greatest shop in the world. Lily et Cie. Is beyond compare. If you really want to be the belle of the ball, this is the number one destination. Rita Watnick has spent decades procuring the most beautiful dresses in the world. This extravagant shop is astonishing and intimidating in it's magnificense, unbelievable even. Everytime I go inside, I am completely blown away.

My friend and I had the worst experience here today. The guy working there was incredibly condescending. We ducked in before our manicures, and he proceeded to tell us how to look at the clothing. "Keep the hangers far apart." Don't let it touch other items. Stay away from the racks in the back. It was the worst. It's pouring rain. We are your only customers. I told my friend how weird I thought he was and he then proceeded to try and explain why he was telling us how to BROWSE. We are middle aged women, I'm not used to be talked down to. Nor do I enjoy being dominated by Insecure and lonely men that clearly have mommy issues. I think if we were dressed for work and not a mani, he would have behaved with common manners. I have a feeling he's confused as to why life hasn't worked out for him. Shopper beware! Instead of going here, just grab a hammer and hit yourself in the head- similar experience. (Figuratively of course, don't actually do it. Lol(

What a magnificent collection! I felt transported through so many different eras of glamour and beauty and every piece the savvy exquisite taste of Rita and Michael the owners, is nothing less than breathtaking. They are both charming and warm, with knowledge and personal stories of some of the greatest designers and their genius, that add to the whole shopping experience... it really is an experience and a wonderful one on all levels.

This store has the worst customer experience. I've only gone twice, and each time the owners have deterred me from trying on something because i was told it wouldn't fit me. As a vintage collector, I understand vintage; how it works and what will or will not fit me. But those are not the conversations I need to be having in defending myself when walking into a store. I know vintage can be precious to let go of but as a business, they successfully keep business away.
