my family and I were visiting LA and decided to shop around in Beverly Hills for a bit. My sister and I wanted to shop at the store Kitson but that was a huge mistake. My mom, my sister and I walked in only for an employee to tell us that they were closed, the time was 6:55, and the closing time was 7. My mom told them that we were just going to browse really quick and that we weren’t going to purchase anything. She gave us an okay and let us in but we got stopped by someone who seemed to be the manager or the owner. He told us that they were closed but my mom told him the same thing, that we were going to look around really quick and not purchase anything. He then proceeded to tell us in a rude tone that we have to hurry up and he THREATENED us that if we take any pictures or videos that we would be kicked out. My mom told him that he wasn’t very welcoming and he began yelling and saying that “if you’re going to snap back at me, then you need to leave.” My mom told us that we should just leave and he was saying, “yeah, you’re in Beverly Hills by the way, the sign was down the street.” As it means that we don’t have high class like we’re “supposed to.” I will never be shopping there as their customer service is HORRIBLE. Do yourselves a favor and don’t even step foot in there.

Weirdest shopping experience. I walked into this store during a trip to LA to purchase a gift for my daughter. I found a shirt for her which I was holding as I continued to look around. Within a few minutes of me finding the shirt a staff member immediately asks if they can hold it at the front for me while I shop. I found another shirt and she also immediately took it from me. I initially thought nothing of it and purchased my items and left. I then went home to browse their selection on instagram only to find out that the owner is a complete wacko and only posts pictures of people that he presumes are stealing as well as weird right wing political posts. Not a single item of clothing or any item that the store actually sells is advertised on the store’s instagram. This guy is obsessed with shoplifting to the point that he thinks every customer is trying to steal! Who wants to spend their money somewhere that doesn’t trust them as a customer?! What a horrible business practice . I wish that I could return these items but I can’t because they only allow store credits smh ! Shoppers spend your money elsewhere!

Fun stuff. Cool gifts. Overpriced but understandable for where they’re located. Their return policy is only store credit for 14 days so be aware when shopping. Their team members are not clear about that. I asked if I could get a refund before I made a purchase and was told I could, but upon returning the item i was informed that I’d only be getting store credit. No photos are allowed inside either so between that and no money back I won’t be gift-shopping here again.

I've always supported and shopped this small business. My husband bought a $1000 gift card here by accident. I had asked him to go to Kith for a friend's birthday gift that I was splitting with someone else. He mistakenly went to Kitson (probably because we have always been supporters). We called within one hour of purchase to request a refund on our card. They told us over the phone if we came back the same day with the card, the request would be honored. We drove back 4 hours after purchase. The manager refused our request, told me she could not do it, and asked if she should "call the president" to get it done.
I was about to purchase another item, but decided against it and told her I would keep the card and never shop there again.
I don't understand why a simple refund could not be honored, but they will never get $1 from me or my friends again.

This week , while waiting for a friend; I wandered into Kitson and had a really great time! Sherry, Laura and Amanda were so cool and friendly, not because they had to be , but because of who they are.Toddy , my dog and best friend bought a great Whiskey a Go Go sweatshirt that I haven’t been able to take off! and we are looking forward to stopping by again soon. This place has an amazing selection of really one of a kind merchandise ,great ambiance ; way cool staff!

Obsessed with this shop off of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills! It's great for tourists to get something LA or Beverly Hills without it being cheap & lame like things on Hollywood Blvd. Better quality items though they might be a bit more pricey. It's like Urban Outfitters done classy LA style. Smaller than other Kitson's, it still gets the job done.My friend and I browsed, found some items to snag, and found some things we want to come back with. Staff asked if we needed help so no issues there.I love Kitson and will surely be back!

Do not support Kitson. Rude employees that have no intention of helping you & incredibly marked up items. Save yourself some time and find a store that values you as a customer.

The staff that work at this location are rude. On one occasion, a younger female store clerk rolled her eyes at me as I was leaving because my baby started crying. She thought I wasn't looking and tried to play it off when she saw that I saw her. On another occasion, a middle aged female store clerk was just abrasive and seemed annoyed when I came in the store. Very bizarre. Every other store in this area has really really nice employees. Not sure what's wrong with this one, but they're pretty rude.

Horribly run store. There was a security guard at the front door enforcing a no mask policy "because of theft" So I obliged, took my mask off and tried to keep my distance from people but the owner made it a point to stand about a foot away from me as intimidation and remind me there was a no mask policy because he saw it around my arm?? I've never been made to feel so uncomfortable It's also overpriced and teeming merchandise with his political views

Unfortunately I will need to ban this store for banning masks. Clearly the owner isn’t concerned about potential at-risk shoppers who are cautious, feeling more comfortable wearing a mask while shopping. A nice place I can no longer recommend to anyone.
