The owner here is Hancrook So. It's my extreme misfortune to discover he is a very problematic owner. When I told him I might file a complaint against his rogue accountant for misconduct, he warned me that the employee would retaliate by reporting me to the IRS !!! Ask yourself if this sounds good to you.Hancrook So threatened me several times with an audit after interrogating me about past s-corps that have been dissolved for years. The last thing he said as I exited his office was that he was concerned what his employee/accountant was going to do to me. His exact words were that he "was concerned".Good luck to any and all unsuspecting customers. I wish I had looked at yelp reviews before going to this ultimate creep.

I can't explain how terrible of an experience this was. I came to H&R Block because I moved halfway through the year and didn't want to make any errors self-submitting.It took them over a week to figure out how to submit, at first telling me I owed a state over $45k and that my company had made errors on my W2. Turns out, my company had it correct and H&R Block just didn't know how to file a partial year resident form.Following that, they also failed to submit my taxes properly, so nothing was actually pulled from account. I have been emailing them for weeks trying to get this resolved and they always tell me they'll get back to me and never do.Lastly, I called the corporate office since the local office wasn't being of help and it turns out the corporate office can't do anything. Everything has to go through the local office.Truly, this is a scam of a company, with horribly incompetent employees. Avoid at all costs.

I recently moved to California from South Dakota & I was in the search of a tax agent I could trust. I booked an appointment with Michaelina and she was incredible. Michaelina has been my tax professional for 7+ years now. I mail her my information from Ohio (I used to be with Mr Gyd). She is very thorough, she remembers me and my tax situation from year to year. So far gets me back a nice return but reminds me this may not be forever because of my rental property.
