Incredible professionals appreciated the painting, which was painted by an artist who has a certificate of conformity for 15 times less than what it costs. In addition, they said that this painting is not real.

My experience with Heritage Auctions was a bit of a let down, disappointing! I was anticipating the benefit of being able to talk with professionals onsite, but instead only spoke with the receptionist up front. The receptionist was kind, letting me know that all the professionals that I would love to speak with happen to be located in the state of Texas! She took pictures of approx. 3 out of my 20 coins to send to Texas. Within a 24 hour period, I received an email saying my coins wouldn't meet the $5000 minimum. So disappointing!!! In all fairness, I probably saw Heritage Auctions in a higher light than what I initially should have!

We’ve had an ok experience with Heritage. We’re regulars at their incredible Disneyland auctions. The staff has usually been helpful and accommodating. They truly have incredible pieces that are unique and fun. The staff can be a little hectic before and after an auction (understandably), but usually friendly. We called a week before the latest auction and was told that they were not having on-site bidding, but we soon found out they did have on-site bidding while watching the online telecast. Communication issues? My biggest issue is not getting a response from them when we wish to sell items to them. We’ve submitted the form online, provided all the details required and photos and heard nothing. Rather frustrating.

- The fees are very very high (1 star)- Communication (1 star)- Service (1 star)- Being upfront with fees and processes(1 star)If you like to sell your coins you should go to other auction houses that charge half of what Heritage Auction charges and you can make more profit.I do not recommend the Heritage Auction to anyone.

Heartbroken. I bid for an item that I didn't initially intend to bid on, but it was something I had my eye on in the past, and the listing which came up had the full correct name of what I wanted, the photos looked good, and due to the speed of the bidding I glanced through the description but didn't get the chance to pore over every word in the description. The sculpture arrived at my house with an entire leg broken off. Not chipped, not cracked, the entire leg is detached from the body. And they won't refund me as there was a single line at the bottom of the description stating "Right leg broken at top". Given that the pictures showed an intact sculpture with no zooming in on the broken part or to show that entire leg was completely detached from the body, isn't this false advertising? (They didn't hesitate to zoom in with photos on other areas!)Also, "Right leg broken on top" doesn't sufficiently describe what is wrong with it. It could be a chip, or a crack? It certainly feels like they intentionally glazed over it hoping no one would notice and bid as per normal on it. An extremely upset as I only bid that amount thinking that it was an intact sculpture. Definitely the last time I'm ever giving this company any business and I would advise others to be extremely careful when dealing with them.

They claim to have requirement of a $5,000.00 minimum per lot value to sell your collection with them..... And after some elaboration on that .....they also claim to have a requirement that no single item in the lot may have less than $1,000.00 value ..... If you flip through a couple of pages of any lot for auction I GUARANTEE YOU WILL FIND MANY MANY ITEMS(COINS,COMIC BOOKS, ART , ETC ) WITH LESS VALUE !! ... So how rude of you to go through the trouble of dishonesty .... HONESTLY.... A HOLES ?ILL TAKE MY ASTRONAUT SIGNED STUFF ELSEWHERE ??BYE FELICIA ???

I went to these people based on referral and I've never experienced more of a joke in my life. If you're going for an appraisal I'm going to forewarn you they don't listen or pay attention to what you ask- that's first and foremost. 2nd. I've never been brushed off so unprofessionally as I just was when I requested an appraisal and some information on a large scrimshaw piece that I had. Over the course of two emails he still didn't answer the question that I asked and told me what I had already reiterated in the email I sent to him completely ignored what I said I don't even know if you even read it to be honest with you. I'm sure they've done good by some people but I want a business that listens to what I'm asking them and that pays attention to what I'm bringing to them that's a company I want to work with and that I want to tell people about, not this one. bypass them if you can, people.

I looked at my options of selling my collection. I discovered that Heritage charges very high fees because they charge both a buyer's premium and a sellers premium when they sell your collection. Yes, they have many bidders, but they offer no personal service. I chose to sell my collection with a smaller, boutique auction house and did exceptionally well, paying only a discounted buyer's premium. The collection sold for far more than recent Heritage sales figures. Check out your options before choosing them. Remember, they are selling your possessions, not theirs, yet the make money from both purchases and sales, thus benefit greatly from their customers who often lose money.
