Eric has deep roots in Los Angeles. He is a third-generation “Angelino”, whose Great, Great, Grandfather farmed the orange groves of the San Fernando Valley and brought his crops to market in a horse-drawn cart. And whose father and grandfather grew up in Boyle Heights and Silver Lake, prior to the mass migration to the "Westside".
Aside from a 12-year hiatus to live in NYC, Eric is as local as they come. He remembers playing on the huge dirt mounds, which ultimately became Interstate Highway 10, connecting downtown LA to the Westside a few years later. And was riding his bicycle alongside the railway car down Sunset Blvd the day it was moved into place and started flippin’ burgers and serving Carney’s dogs.
