John Carroll has taken the most elegant elements of traditional men's fashion and tastefully applied them to his abundant selection of beautifully styled clothing and casual wear. Many items caught my eye and their quality was outstanding. Johnis a knowledgeable and low keyed guide through the selection and fitting process and his prices were more reasonable than I expected.

I visited John at Carroll Custom for a tuxedo for my brother's wedding. The entire experience was beyond excellent! First, his intimate knowledge of menswear helped me design a tuxedo that was exactly what I wanted. Next, the fitting was easy and efficient to get the tux exactly to my liking. Finally, the end product was delivered on time, the tuxedo was made masterfully (it fit me like a glove and felt amazing), and I got compliments all evening on how nice the tux looked. I was so impressed by John, his shop, and the materials he used that I ordered three custom shirts before I walked out. Those too are absolutely breathtaking. I cannot recommend Carroll Custom enough for your menswear needs. Whether you have a big occasion coming up or just want some suits or shirts for your day-to-day, visiting Carroll Custom should be the first thing you do!

I went to see John for my wedding suit. I've had a few custom suits over the years from some of the "lower end" competitors, but was ready to invest in a long-lasting piece I could have for years to come. John took the time with me to talk through my own personal style, what I envisioned, and how he was going to take me there. John's years of experience were evident and it put me at complete ease throughout the process. The end result was amazing - pictured below. Could not recommend the experience, as well as the product, enough!

Have only the highest of praise for John and his shop. I went in for a wedding tuxedo after doing a little research and he helped confirm my thinking and was open and honest on some of the options even beyond his store. He was genuine and just open and friendly without any prejudice, which is very much appreciated. He helped me pick out and build my custom Samuelsohn tuxedo with all the trimmings that goes with it. He was super communicative about delivery as I was worried about any of the mills being shut down during COVID. Tux came in on time and with a session of alteration measurements the tuxedo fits amazingly well and is by far the best looking suit I own; his shop does incredible work and I couldn't be happier with how my wedding tux has turned out. Will certainly be coming back to Carroll Custom for more clothes in the future. A class experience.

I went to see John at Carrol Custom at the recommendation of a family member who's raved about him for years, I'm glad to say that the experience lived up to my expectations. I wanted a suit for a wedding, but something that I could wear on multiple occasions, and John's expertise was essential for finding the right option. John was extremely attentive to my ideas about how I wanted to look, but I really relied on his experience to guide me. I was so pleased with the style and quality at my first fitting, everything came together exactly as we had planned. I'm excited to work with John again in the future to add more custom pieces to my wardrobe.

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with John at Carroll Custom. I went to get a suit for my wedding that would be versatile enough to wear after the event. John was super helpful at coming up with ideas for exactly what I wanted and he walked me through the entire process of creating the right suit for me (everything from lapels to liners to buttons). When it was time for the fitting, he had excellent instincts for the alterations that needed to be made before the suit was finalized. He seemed to address everything I was thinking without me saying a word. The rest of the store's inventory also seems really cool so I'm already excited to go back for something else

If you're a guy who wants to look really good for your next big event (e.g., a wedding, business meeting, pitch etc.), you should definitely visit Carroll Custom. I had a custom tux made to officiate a wedding, and the final product was beautiful & makes me significantly better looking than I actually am. In the past, I've had to go to places like Suit Supply for weddings etc. and the results are blah and the fabric falls apart after 1 or 2 events. Carroll Custom is a much better experience and investment that will get you a perfectly tailored suit that will actually last.

I do not usually write Yelp reviews, but I felt compelled to after my tux buying experience at Carroll Custom. I needed a new tux for a wedding and a friend of mine suggested to go see John. The tux is incredible quality and it was great being able to work with someone who has been in the business for so long. I have already been able to wear it on multiple occasions and I always receive compliments. Highly recommend!

Carroll Custom tailored a suit for my husband. It was a pleasure to work with John. The whole experience was terrific; choosing your own fabric, the fitting, and then seeing the final product specifically sewn for him. The suit fits perfectly and represents his personal style. What a legacy, Carroll & Co. has been supplying my husband's family for generations.

I absolutely love Carroll Custom the new store - one of my favorite things about it is the simplicity of having all of your options laid out in front of you - knowing you can create the perfect custom suit, color, style and having Johns expertise on options is always helpful. I am a long standing fan of the Carroll family and customer of their shop, ever since learning the legacy of when they started dressing leading mean in Hollywood. I've enjoy a number of suits being custom made for special occasions and was delighted that Carroll Custom has opened in time to dress me for my wedding day, this year. I love the various advice John has to offer. Currently in the process of having my wedding suit made and will update pictures once I have the final fitting.
