Picking up and returning the truck was quick and efficient, which was great. However, they told me I could return the truck the next morning, but when I did, they charged me for two days because I didn't return it within exactly 24 hours. That's a totally reasonable policy, but if that's the policy, it should have been explicitly stated when I was told I could return the truck the next morning.More frustrating though is that when I called to inquire about the charges, the man I spoke to was very rude and refused to explain them to me - ultimately, I had to call the Budget customer service line to understand why I had been charged more than expected. Overall, I ended up having to make six calls over the course of a week to get to the bottom of it.

I rented a truck for my move day. Went to pick it up and had to wait 15 minutes for the employer to get out to the bathroom to get the truck. Then, he said I can’t leave my car on the lot while I have the truck, I cancelled the reservation in person and they reassured me three won’t be a fees and my card won’t be charged. GUESS WHAT my card got charged $150 as a no show. And now I’m spending hours on the phone from on costumer service to another trying to dispute the charge with no luck. One of them said “you should have call in for the cancellation”. Not to mention, the costumer service phone don’t work properly. Why have employers in then store, if you they can’t do a simple task as cancelling a reservation!!!!!

Do NOT reserve anything from this Budget location or any other Budget unless you want to be severely let down. Had my car booked for weeks and was given multiple assurances that the car will be there and ready to go at the time I booked. Guess what? Not only was it NOT there but they didn't even call to let me know! I had to show up and find out in person! Wasted my time and money and will never book with Budget again. The lack of customer service to make this right was a joke and never once heard from anyone in management. No wonder this business has such a low rating. No accountability at all.Absolute TRASH!!

Terrible experience. I reserved a truck online on a Monday for the following Saturday to move stuff from my recently deceased parent's house as we sold it and are now closing escrow this Friday (which means we have to get everything out). I follow up the online reservation with a call to the location to ensure the truck has a ramp which it would have. The person assures me they will have the truck and it's not a problem. They call me today (Wednesday) to tell me that in fact they don't have a truck available nor do any of the surrounding stores and there is nothing they can do for me (basically telling me to go pound sand with an added I'm sorry). So they left me now high and dry. Hopefully U-Haul will come through whereas Budget is not capable.

When U-Haul changed the pick-up location for the truck I had reserved to a more distant site, I thought I'd try the Budget Truck Rental in Beverly Hills, which I had originally assumed would be more expensive than U-Haul. I was wrong. Budget Truck Rental turned out to be much better priced than U-Haul and far more convenient. Picking up and dropping off at the Budget office were a breeze too. I had the genuine pleasure of working with Henry at the Budget Truck Rental in Beverly Hills, who was as thoughtful, supportive, and accommodating as could be. Thank you, Henry, for making my truck rental so easy and for your much-appreciated kindness.

Just when you thought things couldn't get worse - not only were we cancelled after receiving a confirmation the previous day, but then these crooks tried to run our credit card. Unbelievable! Do not use!

Booking a truck on the website means absolutely nothing... their website does not actually reflect the inventory at the location. The agent at this location had no sympathy for the fact that he did not have my truck. Horrible experience.

Worst experience of my life. Not only did they call to tell me they had no truck after I ordered one but they charged me for a no show. When I called the store they told me I had to call customer service to get a refund. When I called customer service they said they would refund in a week. No refund. Since then I have called 2-3 times per week only to stay on hold for 30 minutes, get disconnected over and over, talk to people who put me on hold never to call back. Absolute nightmare of an experience. I've literally spent hours trying to get a refund. I had to call three times in a row this morning just to get someone to pick up the phone and apparently I'll get it in 5-7 business days. We'll see. What a joke.

Ordered a truck over the phone. Gave them my credit card. Spent 10 minutes. Then the store calls me and tells me they have no truck. I ask why would they reserve me a truck they don't have. Guy tells me that the appoint setters don't track inventory. I ask if they purposefully overbook trucks. He tells some he story which ultimately leads to, yes they overbook intentionally. Oh, and they charged my credit card $75 for a "no-show". Awful.

The concept of reservation is lost I guess. I made a reservation couple weeks prior to mu move, got a confirmation from them three days to pick up schedule and then the next day they called me to say unfortunately they cannot honor my reservation. No solution, no supervisor to talk to. They hilariously advised me to look for truck rental from their competition! As if I would do otherwise! I understand that these issues may happen, but a well run business takes measures and makes sure to warn their customers well ahead of time. Anyways, got a U-Haul. Reliable and professional.

Worst rental experience ever. Dropped off my rental truck (which was unsafe, bald tires, bad breaks, and faulty windshield wipers). The agent assured me someone would look into the safety of the truck and call me back to "make things right". Spoke to multiple agents over a month period. Not only did they tell me "there isn't enough time to investigate the safety of the truck before renting again"... they simply offered a $50 and $75 credit for the truck being filthy. Nice to know Budget doesn't care about customer safety. Someone should audit their fleet. Don't trust these jokers. They'll rent you a rig you wouldn't put your worst enemy in.
