Really nice unit on a higher floor with great views of Hollywood Hills. I chose not to rent here because the location didn't seem too safe.

Blue is the BEST! I've been here over two years. Cindy ensures everything and anything I need gets done. She works well with the rest of the staff, especially Richard and Sergio, so anything required to keep my unit in tip top shape is handled. My experience at Blu has been great thanks to the great people who work there. I feel safe and taken care of, always.

Let's start with the building first. It's definitely a low-key building from the outside, I loved that. The rooms were great, in one of the higher rooms. LOVELY view! you can see all of Beverly Hills from the room, the roof is good too, nice tanning space. My 2 complaints from the roof are the fact that they don't have enough umbrellas for shade and it seems like a pool should have been here since day one, they are luxury apartments after all. Let's move on to the complaints, one of the bigger reasons I moved away was in part do to the way the building started to be run. 1) I started noticing that unknown people would start parking on the top floors and sometimes wander around the floors. Explorers of sorts. Didn't appreciate that in this "secure building." 2) This is hard for me to type because I hate putting people on "blast" but...one of the concierges Richard is a great guy, or at least was for my first few months but this perception changed: I was once walking from the gym to the elevator and I heard my name in the floor below. I overheard Richard say my name and another residents name and let's just say that I am not fond of people when they give me one face but talk bad about me behind my back. I hang out at this spot sometimes to overhear anything about me or my other friends that are also residents of the building. I spoke to other residents and they have also noticed that there's a little "fake" in some smiles we see daily, if you don't like your job maybe you should change careers. It wasn't a deal breaker but it was one of the reasons I moved elsewhere.

I stayed at Blu over the summer and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I even had to leave early and they helped find a new tenant to help. Stephanie the property manager is very helpful and addresses issues very promptly. Great place to live.

Be EXTREMELY cautious of Amanda, the manager of the building. She moved someone else into our apartment before our lease was up! We walked in to clean our apartment and grab the rest of our things and were shocked to see that someone else was living there. Amanda COMPLETELY lied and told the maintenance manager we turned in our keys so that she could move someone else into our apartment and get rent from 2 people for overlapping times. What was even more shocking is that they wouldn't tell us where the rest of our stuff was, and the valet told us that he wasn't even surprised by what she did. My biggest complaint is that when we entered OUR apt, the new tenant could have had a weapon or thought we were breaking in. Unfortunately, when we filed our police report, the officer told us we would most likely have to go to small claims court :(

I tried to rent two units for business and couldn't get a call back from the leasing agent three days in a row. When I finally called again for a fourth time she was less than sympathetic and stated that she never got one of my three messages. She added that the owner of the building is a private equity company implying that there is no one to convey my experience to, or an owner that would care. Very poor communication about trying to explain how the rent and security deposit worked. Spoke with her boss who didn't seem phased or care at all about the situtation. Hard to imagine living in a place with such arrogance and imcompetency. Very disappointing.
