What a shirt!Art Lewin Bespoke makes really comfortable and stylish shirts that always stay tucked in with an innovative design. He will give you as many pockets as you want. They are to wear with a suit or by themselves. I guess he only reveals his tucked - in secret to clients because it was a gift from my father Jose.

Art Lewin is a true tailor to be treated with the respect given to an artist. I recently discovered he also has personnel to do repairs and adjustments. In other words, a one man stop to be bespoke.

ART LEWIN is the BEST OF THE BEST ! Art and LISA B and JASON and their supremely-skilled staff are all BEYOND GREAT ! Art and his obvious dedication to his craft and his commitment to excellence assured that the highly specialized and difficult alterations that I requested for my business suits were all performed PERFECTLY. I typically wear a Men's 44 Short, but I also own several suits in 44 Regular. The suits that I've purchased off the rack in size 44 Regular all present patterns that I like a lot, but which are not available in 44 Short. Of course, my Suit-Jackets that are size 44 Regular are a bit too long for my torso. I've searched throughout Southern California, and until I called Art Lewin, there were NO tailors that would agree to perform the task of shortening my Suit-Jackets. All the other well-known tailors in SoCal told me that the task of shortening a Suit-Jacket was "Do-able" but TOO DIFFICULT for them, and they were not skilled enough to perform that specialized alteration. In contrast, Art Lewin and his super-gracious and informative assistant "Lisa B" welcomed me with open arms. More importantly, during my detailed conversations with both Art and Lisa, they did NOT try to "sell me". Instead, Art took the time to show me WHY shortening a Men's suit jacket is highly difficult - - and then Art took the time to carefully explain and show me HOW he and his expert-team would perform the alterations so that the Jackets would all look perfectly proportioned, and so they would all FIT ME perfectly. Art's promises and assurances were all true, and I could not be happier with the finished products ! Art's genuine courtesy and his unique and One-Of-A-Kind tailoring skills, and those of his expert-staff, resulted in my size 44 Regular Suit Jackets now fitting me perfectly. It's a huge difference between me previously looking in the mirror and saying "Hmmm, this Jacket is a bit too long for me, and it shows..." to me now saying "this suit is Awesome and makes me look Great !" I've worked with many tailors, and they're all skilled and diligent in their own way. But now I've met Art, and I wear his expert artistry. ART is the BEST OF THE BEST !

Just picked up some suits and some alterations of off the rack items. While the alterations were spot on, it was enlightening to see the difference between those and the ones Art made from scratch. The suits Art made just looked impeccable, and somehow felt so comfortable and light as though I was wearing a t-shirt. Already browsing patterns to see what I should get next. Thanks Art and Jamie!

I had a great experience at Art Lewin at their 9th Street, Downtown LA location. They tailored two pairs of dress pants for me, essentially tapering the legs to give them a more modern look. I'm really happy with their service and would totally go back for my more discerning tailoring needs. Many levels above going into your local dry cleaner.
