Great brand, but quite disappointing service. I asked for a different size in a shirt (strangely they only had smalls on display) and the salesperson said "Let me check in the back." I waited 30 minutes for her to return (mainly out of curiosity to what happened to her after the first 15 minutes). She never returned. When I asked the cashier, her response was "Maybe she went to lunch." Not sure what is happening over there, but it doesn't instill much desire to shop there. The teenage-looking manager chimed in as I was leaving to say "thanks for coming in today" robotically.

never going back to this location. They guy at the register with the nose piercing made me feel very very uncomfortable after I told him that I’m not interested of buying the product he was trying to sell at the register. He gave me the death look after I said no thank you. rude rude and unprofessional.

Lia/Leah and Alicia (I can't spell) are so nice, sweet and helpful! The store looks great; amazing inventory, and the employees seem happy to be there and intelligent, unlike the poorly managed location at the Grove.

Guys listen. It’s your fault not us.We purchased a lot of stuff from your store last year when we were on vacation to Beverly hills, then we traveled back home and one of the items my wife purchased there is a sensor attached to the dress so we back again this year and my wife stopped by to tell about the dress coz she couldn’t wear it and you did not accept to remove it, we are not stealing this dress to deal like that and no problem we will thrown the dress in trach but you gotta give your staff some of the caffeine to focus on their job and do it probably coz this is not the customer fault, we will not keep the receipt for a year coz we trashed the receipt there before we travel, so if your not sure about waking up your staff to remove every sensor on all items that pple purchase then make sure to tell the customer to check it again when they back home before trashing the receipt, people who go for vacation and purchase something they don’t keep receipt but you can check the credit card on your file that we used. This is in Dubai never happened with us.Thank you.

The most rude personnel! Would not allow my 4-year old child to use the restroom. Would not allow me to exchange a gift (knowing the email and number of the person who gifted the items) and all with the worst attitude.

After a positive experience at The Grove, it was time to try out the shorts I had my eye on. Since I was solo for this trip, I decided to try out their Beverly Hills location. I felt this was a smaller store than the Grove, but I could be wrong. This time, I had a guy offer assistance and he helped me grab the shorts (now two different pairs) in both the XXS and the XS, in addition to another pair he suggested (they do their job well here). As expected, I was the dreaded in-between sizes, and I honestly don't know which size to go with. I guess the XXS may eventually give, but I don't know how long that will take. The ones he suggested I passed on since the inseam was longer than I preferred.Once again, I left with a good impression of alo, considering I would normally never set foot within until I was obligated due to other people.I DID return (after my dismal visit at an Orange County location, review for that to come) when I was narrowing down my choices (again) and I ended up with the Aurasoft short in XXS. Richie was the guy who was helpful on my previous visit, and he actually remembered me from then. Once again, a great time was had here, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Beware buying gift cards here. I was given $500 worth of gift cards by a friend for my birthday and when I went to use them (a few days after), they were wiped clean. As was the other gift card my friend got for someone else. It says it was used online and sent to a university professor, but after seeing the reaction the manager and sales rep had when I asked who rang up the gift cards (and after they stopped giving me more info) it was clear a sales rep had taken a photo of the cards and used it herself. Everyone who works there is a university student and clearly the sales rep sent items to herself in downtown and used her professor's name. The manager said he would take care of the issue but never did. I went back several times and not only was this not resolved, but I also got so much attitude from the manager. What a shame. Really loved Alo but will never shop here again and I've made sure to let everyone know of what happened.

Love their clothes. Customer service is the worst. They don't know how to make their customers happy after they have messed up a transaction. It's, "unfortunately we can't do anything about it" and that's it. Highly recommend never going to an alo store and just ordering online.

The men's clothing line here is really stepped it up in recent months and especially since 2019. Now, I only want to wear things that people would enjoy with a hello hug :-)Soft, and dries quickly so no sweat stains.Luxury athleisure. Thanks so much for your help checking me out, Sam. I guess they expect the clothes to sell themselves here, cause their employees certainly couldn’t be less interested. I worked retail in my younger years, so I get that this can be a draining job… but pointing and giving directions while you’re standing and chatting with your coworkers instead of excusing yourself and showing the customer the exact items is inexcusable. (If I wanted directions, I would have used maps).Golden rule of retail used to be anyone walking in with a return or an exchange was an opportunity to show customers your favorite pieces they may not have seen or the latest and greatest “new arrivals”. This would boost your stores sales and in turn your value as an employee. This must of died along with quality customer service. RIP to this brand for me.
