They wouldn’t cover an urgent care visit because they received no records from the urgent care company but never told me that’s what they needed and a year later I am getting stuck with the bill. Would never recommend this group.

I’m 45+ minutes waiting in a subzero room to get test results that were done over a month ago. No one called and I still don’t know. The person who checked me in might as well have been a robot, no connection and didn’t even call me by my correct name……Not present and just going thru the motions, ending everything with “perfect “ Each time I come I hope for a better experience, no luck so far. The sad thing is they’re all the same. Guard your health so you can stay away!

Had a great physician at DOHC, but unannounced they dropped our insurance, all PPO insurance. I tried to get my prescription refilled and was told the doctor is not refilling because I am no longer a patient! After several calls and trying to figure out why, I was told DOHC is not accepting PPO insurances. I asked to have my one med refilled for another 30 days and the uncaring and rude nurse told me she could only do 15 days. I have filed complaints with the BBB and the Medical board of CA.

Dr. Russell is the best. He is ever ready to help. Great follow thru. Referrals and additional services are ordered immediately. He has been our doctor for so many years and would not change him for anything… Thank you Dr. Russell for being such a great doctor.

Dr. Steven Wright is our son's pediatrician. We've been with this office for 10 years. I wouldn't take my children anywhere else in the valley! Mr. Wright is incredibly knowledgeable, respectful and great with my son! I highly recommend Dr. Steven for anyone looking for a pediatrician!

Don't expect anything other than automation here. I was assigned by my UHC insurance to Dr. Jeffrey Law. Called for an appt, told to go to Urgent Care, 'not seeing any patients'. I work in primary care and was called to the frontline and served, have never stopped seeing patients. If you 'don't see patients', you don't belong in the healing arts. I was sent a letter by snail mail from this doctor saying that a survey would soon be on the way in order to evaluate how they are doing. Survey never came. Here is your patient eval.

Do yourself a favor. Find a different medical group. Chances are, if you need a specialist, they have ONE provider in the Coachella Valley and that provider in all likelihood is not very good. I think the business model depends on you staying away because you know the service is horrible. It's gotten to the point where I am going either switch to a PPO or move back towards civilization and a better selection of doctors. I am sick and tired of being held hostage by the medical group. I will manage my own healthcare seeing as how Desert Oasis has proven themselves NOT to be up to the task.

Absolutely no problem with Dr. Lawhead!!!! It’s his nurse wow! What a piece of work ! Treats people like they are just an annoyance and bother also very abrupt takes forever to get a return call if at all! I was in business here in Coachella Valley for over 50 years and if I had treated my customers like she does I would not have lasted 6 months !think about that...

I have several doctors in the Desert Oasis group and I have had nothing but the best care from everyone from receptionist to doctors. They have shown compassion and respect for me in every encounter. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have video and phone appointments as I live 2 hours away. I recommend this group to anyone seeking comprehensive and cohesive health care. Thank you Desert Oasis.
