Dejitaru Karate Dojo is an incredible and positive place, described as a second home and one big family. It is a family-owned and operated dojo with a great instructor. The sensei and his wife are amazing, caring, encouraging, and welcoming people who greet everyone with a smile. They teach structure while having fun, starting from the basics with lots of one-on-one attention. The coaching style is amazing, emphasizing respecting opponents and the importance of training before using karate as a fighting method. Children grow in confidence, strength, and agility while learning self-defense skills and competing. Parents can watch from a great lobby with big TVs and audio. Students and families are very excited and happy, having a blast and making new friends. The dojo is highly and strongly recommended by the community.

My kids love the class. The sensai is great with children. He makes learning karate fun and eventful.

This place is so positive, I’ve made so many new friends, I’ve grown so much as an individual and as an athlete. The sensei and his wife are so caring and encouraging. Highly recommend.
