Victoria has been our realtor since 1998 when she took us around to at least 15 different homes trying to get the perfect house for our budget. Luckily for us she reached out to other realtors and they told her about a lady who owned multiple properties, her husband had died and she was looking to sell. Our perfect house was found, it was in move in condition and within our budget $139,000 plus it was in a neighborhood close to where I grew up. We lived in that house 24 years did some major improvements. We then decided to sell once again using Victoria as we knew she had the most knowledge about the neighborhood, house and what the market was doing. She was able to get us top dollar for our house at a whopping $780,000. We couldn't have asked for a better realtor who always acts professionally and cares for her clients. Victoria knows the market and knows the players. She helped me get a great deal on a special property that others passed on or couldn't negotiate for the price. She worked tirelessly and we secured the property for $50,000 under asking price, which is crazy for this time! Her connections to the others in the industry really helped with some inside knowledge that got us the edge. You will be in good hands...I sure was.

Victoria represented my family on the sale of my mom's house in Alameda. We followed her recommendations and made some minor modifications and put the house on the market and got an over-asking offer on the first day! She knows her stuff and helped us all throughout the process.

Victoria acted as dual agent representing me as a buyer several years ago. As I don't like to speak ill of anyone I have stuffed my thoughts for these last few years however when I saw recently that she has a 5 star rating I felt the need to share my experience. As a result of her biased behavior I will never enter into a dual agent relationship again. Some of her most grievant actions included: not telling me of an important inspection appointment so I could attend; over talking me and my daughter on numerous occasions coupled with not listening to me; encouraging me to sign off on a loan contingency before my loan was secure; and giving seller unrealistic time frames for closing which caused ill-will with seller as well as costing me additional thousands of dollars. I do not wish Victoria poorly but I also think she does not deserve a 5 star rating.

Her attention to details, eloquent negotiating, and emotional intelligence with people creates one thing called RESULTS! I have known Victoria Curtis for almost 25 years, and she is the best person I know to use to buy a house in the Richmond/ Berkeley area. Whether you are buying your first home, cashing in equity to purchase a bigger home, or looking for investment property, she is the only person I would use! Not only that, but she is a terrific resource if you are looking for a painter, landscaper, or need to upgrade your kitchen appliances. The best thing about Victoria is that she will not just tell you what you want to hear, but give it to you straight. She will find the good and bad in the property that most folks would not have noticed. For example, are the schools good here, or a few blocks over has a better one. I recommend Victoria with 5 Stars and I know you would not be disappointed!
