What!?! Another giant apartment building for students at Cal who can afford $4000 a month? Great. Those developers ought to be required to re-establish the businesses that they disrupt.

LOVE this store. Has all sorts of the odds and ends you need on life. RCA cables, trimmer line, weatherstripping etc. I do not know how much longer it will be around. There's signage regarding a new development. So get over and soak it in. One of the last true old hardware stores left.

We have been going to Eastern Supply for over 30 years. It is a truly rare event when they don't have what we are looking for. Well stocked, good service & advice. This store makes such a good neighbor & we would be truly lost without it

They had everything here but what I was looking for and be prepared when you shop here the anti-shoplifting employees will burn holes thru you. This place makes you feel like a carrier super booster....I asked them where i could finde somegthing electrical in English and they all of a sudden don't have...we out ...out hmmm I bet if I spoke Chinese they would have it." When will you get the part in."."oh I don't know" we no have "and they look at you like you are an alien from another planet....no... they just have everything else and they make you feel real uncomfortable. I am sure they "no have " anything I ask for....

I was struggling to get scheppach scroll saw blades in the UK. Went over to california to see our son wife and the two girls and found them in a hardware store in Berkeley. Great shop. ?

One of the men who works here is truly rude, like leading-with-rude rude. First, as he breezed by, I asked him if they had any wood filler. He kept walking away from me, barked "No!" at me over his shoulder, and turned the corner. 10 minutes of walking around later, I found the wood filler and went to check out. As I walked up to the counter -- I was the only person in line, and I was moving at a normal human pace -- he glared at me, aggressively gesticulating with the "come on! hurry up!" hand motion, and then grabbed my items out of my hand. This is the closest hardware store to my house. I can walk there in under 5 minutes. But, especially as a woman, this interaction ensures that I'll never go to this establishment again.
