Delicious and unique pizza and fresh pastas to take home. Their fresh olive baguettes at the Stonestown farmers market are reason enough to come early Sunday mornings. The older gentleman who runs their farmers market stand on Sundays is a joy to be around. Love this small business; A+++

Besides their wonderful pastas and sauces, they make incredible, inventive pizza using their olive bread for the crust. The various combos are terrific -- but their pizzas tend to be heavy on toppings, and they aren't well "glued" to the crust by the small amount of cheese. So we always end up with vegetables in our laps. Maybe they could embed the veggies rather than have them sitting on top? With that one change, these pizzas would be perfect!

One of my favorite pasta proprietors now has a physical location just off or Hopkins St near many other wonderful local shops. The Phoenix Pastificio has the most delicious fresh pastas, including their unique Meyer lemon pasta, and delicious handmade raviolis.

The olive bread is certainly worth purchasing. They also have retail stores who sell their olive bread. Try their pastas also. I found this business at the Berkeley farmers market.

If you wanted fresh pasta that stands out, this is the place! We adore the habanero Serrano yellow bell pasta it is incredible especially in a fettuccine dish. They did discontinue this version of pasta and the owner Eric says he eats it every day and they brought it back, which made us very happy.

If you are ever in Strawberry Creek Park, you have to stop by here. Long-standing institution with amazing seasonal pastas. Olive bread is outstanding as are the desserts!

So happy this place stayed strong through the pandemic! Still the best fresh pasta in the east bay, and they've increased their offerings to a wider variety of cut pasta (shells, penne, rigatoni, etc not just the long pasta styles). Plus pastries and cookies to die for, particularly the pecan chocolatey chewy cookie!

Olive Bread was delicious and just the right amount of kalamata olives. I purchased it in the street market in Berkeley on a Saturday. We were visiting,;the bread lasted for several days and we enjoyed every bit of it. If we visit again I'd like to visit the shop. I was researching the credit card transaction to find the business. Solid 5 stars.
