Many, many experiences and years of color-matching paint at other stores were always successful and spot-on. We even tested a color match with the same colors at a different store first which was again, successful, but thought we would try it in SW brand in case it was better quality/protection for exterior paint. Unfortunately this was our first ever experience where a store did not get a color match right and now we're stuck with expensive paint that we hate. Yes, it goes without saying obviously we should have tested it first but after so many experiences of testing so many colors and finishes at other stores going swimmingly and feeling we needed to buy the supply of paint before the sale ended- we foolishly felt confident this would go well. I'm sure you are more intelligent or at least have common sense enough to not make our dumb mistake based on all our prior perfect color matching experiences elsewhere. Save being horrified at all the paint you have in a color that makes you cringe and keep up the testing no matter how perfect the track record has been, and maybe it was a one-off but perhaps especially for this brand? Obviously this is just one experience which is why I didn't give one star, but thought I would share to help others resist the temptation to skip the step that we skipped here.

We have been using Sherwin Wiliams paint since I1986 and this store since its opening. We go back because we like the paints and really appreciate the staff. The staff have always been helpful. Our latest experience has topped and the others. We were helping one of our daughters choose colors for her new house. My wife left her phone by the paint chips. We didn't realize it until the store was closed. We went back next morning a little before opening. The staff member knew exactly why we were there and brought it to us.

Very efficient and helpful. They have lots of staff to help you, and a large back area so you don't have to wait long for them to mix paint
