Very rude. I stopped in to buy a muffin and it took me a sec to do the math for the change she gave me. And I ask if there was tax and she says, ‘do you not know math!?’ And keeps yelling at me, and “I’m just saying I’m sorry I’m sorry!”

Avoid the store at this gas station! Today I was trying to refill my tire as it says low pressure, but since my gas is full, I had to pay them a dollar to use the air. This is not the worst part (although at some places they let you use for free, which is sadly becoming less common in Berkeley). As I finished my 3rd tire, the owner shut off the gas As he saw from the camera that I was about to work on the 4th tire. I went inside and he asked me to pay another dollar to be able to finish up. I said I already paid and there's one more tire only. "if you not pay, you leave" literally what he said. There's absolutely no signs about time limit (and I was doing it quickly already), and his attitude is extremely rude.

Tended by the most incredibly hostile couple (who appear to actually live in the attached convenience store)! I broke down there last night and they had absolutely NO pity, showed little mercy. Came out and threatened me with towtruck action multiple times while I waited for my roadside assistance. Really, I honestly halfway thought they might shoot me before I managed to drag my car off of their lot! (An honest, human problem; my ignition switch went out, doesn't make me a terrorist or whatever they were thinking!). I would avoid this place if you can. They'd always been unfriendly, just not openly aggressively hostile until my misfortune gave them an opportunity to do so. Also, too expensive and they always have been. Better options around.

The owners made up different prices for the drinks. Two canned sodas cost $3 each. The man behind the counter tried to make up prices that were different for me and my partner while buying the same products.
