one word: PERFECT! i'm convinced this is the last great place you can get a hearty deli sandwich for under $10. the people who work there are the sweetest and kindest, providing excellent service that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy about supporting local. plenty of seating in the large shop, nice place to bring your work if you need a quiet spot to get something done. i try to go at least 3 times a month :-)

Love the vibe, paid $30 for two lattes with up charges, a burrito, breakfast sandwich, and a cookie. food was pretty good and my breakfast burrito was really big! my friends croissant looked small but he was full. i liked the size of my double latte at 12oz

Solid sandwich location. Good price to portion ratio. The staff slice the meat when ordered. The bread tasted fresh. It's right by the Cal campus. It has limited hours and close by 3 pm every day. They're closed on weekends. There are a few tables upstairs and two small ones in front. Definitely a quick bite to eat type place. Would not recommend large groups. They do have Wi-Fi so if you're alone it wouldn't be bad. Would come again for a sandwich

First time today and I will not be going back. Look at how little turkey is on this turkey sandwich. 1 cold cut that doesn't even cover the bread. I can't believe they had the gall to charge me $12 for this sandwich! It's offensive. Do not waste your time or money at this place.

Today I was having lunch with my pal Bernie Bosco and his little stab Beenie, and they took me to the Sandwich Zone Deli. What a great delicatessen, the selections and quality of the products are amazing!5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆

Great lunch spot. Italian sub was a beast of a sandwich. The portions were great and the bread had a uniquely sweet taste. Would absolutely recommendEdited: Stopped again the next day. Did not disappoint

Great food. I got the Italian sub and it had a generous portion of meat. Bread held up well with the Italian dressing and had a sweet taste, which complemented the ingredients well. Would definitely recommend.

This is a $9 bagel.. when I tell you these people are on crack, smh beyond dissatisfied and disappointing. My first and last time eating here. I tried to support a local small business that's down the street from my job and this is what I get. Save your money and go to Pete's there's wasn't enough night salmon to cover the bagel. A complete scam.

This is a pretty good place to grab a quick bite for lunch. The people at the counter are nice and sandwiches are freshly made. Depending on the sandwich, they usually come out warm. The wait isn't too long, but it also depends on how many in-person and online orders are ahead of you. There are a bunch of options for sandwiches and a build-your-own option if that's of your liking. My go-to is always the chipotle chicken sandwich which is very tasty! The prices are reasonable and the portions are quite filling. Just be aware that there's a 3.99% credit card charge regardless of how much you spend, so try to bring cash if you're planning on coming here. Another note to add is that the UC Berkeley Perimeter Line bus stop is right in front of Sandwich Zone. If I was lucky I would just catch the bus to get to my next class after getting a sandwich.

Love this place. Bread is always fresh and ingredients as well. They are not stingy with meat either, perfect ratio and lunch every time (: oh and owners are always super sweet.

I've loved sandwich zone for at least 10 years now... and continuing. They make simple but consistently delicious sandwiches that are decently priced. If you want to support a mom and pop shop, this is the one.
