Experienced some rude service. I asked for a discount they seemed to be having as a promotion for students and person checking out did not even apply it. After asking.What’s the point of offering something and looking annoyed to be asked to apply it and not even doing so in front of me!

I was forced to report to work just to be informed that I had been fired without being given any explanation; this made me waste my time that day for no cause. Don't waste your time here; it is not worthwhile.

Good selection of food. Great produce. Noticed that both the bread and eggs cost more than I could afford. Probably distribution problems. The register person spoke to her coworker all during my check out. That was odd. The bagging person wes very nice and I thanked them, as I usually do.

Wait...Andronico's is owned by Safeway? I will confess that I use their parking lot to park my car to go around Solano. I can not find parking that I don't have to pay. I could park at the Safeway down the street to park.I have check the inside of Andronico's. I will admit I get lost wondering inside. This store has been around for more than 20 years. The grocery store that people in Albany/Berkeley go to do their grocery shopping.What do I like about Andronico's....fresh produce. If you compare the produce to Safeway somehow Andronico's vegetables seem more fresh. Does anyone know where is another Andronico's in the Bay Area? This seems to be the only one I can find.

Sam makes my sandwiches nearly every Wednesday. He is a delight! I see other customers also have positive interactions with him, as well as his coworkers, every time I'm there. He's a treasure!

Love their bakery! Kandi is the best, she was so kind to help me out, she made a fresh fruit tart that was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS and held if for me. All her pastries are so fresh and delicious!

It's a lifesaver! It can be too expensive, though. I mean $6 for Hot Cheetos on sale! But wonderful staff. Lots of variety and gigantic!
