I have been going to OKC (Orange Kettlebell Club) and training with Denis Vasilev for the last 2 years. I have had a few different personal trainers in the bay over the years, and my experience working with Denis is second to none. He is super friendly and incredible knowledgeable about kettlebells and overall training. I appreciate his ability to customize workouts around my fitness goals. He has helped me stay motivated, build endurance, and get a lot stronger. Highly recommend checking OKC out!

Went here on a trial - really supportive staff, and tough but rewarding class! I enjoyed the variety of the workouts, and the instructor filled me in on stuff I didn't know how to do.

First fitness club to get me hooked and coming back regularly. Staff could not be nicer and more supportive and knowledgeable. Dealing with a shoulder injury and John one of the owners knows his stuff and has me on the road to recovery. Atmosphere is friendly and open and chill. Good music. Also, sometimes dogs for comedic relief.

The best place to learn Kettlebell Sport in the Bay Area! John and Nazo run an amazing gym that is recognized as one of the top GS sport gyms in the world! You definitely have to check them out! Your first week is free so you have nothing to lose! Look for parking in the neighborhood nearby, no dedicated parking that I know of for the gym.

OKC North is run by people who believe in helping people find their own best fitness selves. It is the opposite of a cookie cutter gym. No one size fits all approach exists within its doors and people of all sizes are welcome. I started going to classes last December and I look forward to attending many more. The level of excellence possessed by the trainers is superb and if you are anything like me, you like to get the best value you can. This little fitness club satisfies that desire in spades. I never feel like I am being pushed too hard, what I do feel, without fail every time, is the common comradery of a group of people working hard to improve their own lives. This leads to the natural desire to push harder, not out of competition persay, but due to feeling like I am part of a team. Most of my experience so far has been with the beginning kettlebell sport class held M/W/F at noon. I can already see and feel positive changes. Girevik sport may seem simple from the outside but the complexity of the movements involved is deep and it keeps me coming back for more. When I have wanted to try something different or my schedule has not cooperated, their other class offerings offer a refreshing change of pace. Come try it out, you will see. :) Jesse

I've been going to OKC since September and it has been such a great experience! Each one of trainers is so knowledgeable and willing to help whenever possible. From strength training classes, old school athletics and open gym- I love it all. If you're looking for a great workout and even better community, this is the place!

I love OKC! I have been attending The Vault class for almost 2 months and it has been awesome! The instructor, Ryan, is super chill, yet supportive. He pushes you when you need it and is always ready with a modification if something is too difficult or uncomfortable. He is very attentive to previous injuries you may have and corrects your technique to make sure you are being safe and avoiding new injuries. The people who attend The Vault are friendly (well as friendly as can be expected at 6 am!) and supportive as well. I find that I look forward to coming to class, which is crazy for ME to look forward to strength training! I feel stronger already! I highly recommend OKC for a good strength-based workout with a bit of cardio.

This gym is FANTASTIC! When I first heard of kettlebell sport in Nov 2015, all I could think of was "That looks miserable! Why would anyone want to do this?!?" Now, less than a year later, I've competed in 2 meets, gotten mentally and physically stronger, and made some lasting friendships with amazing athletes. John and Nazo have done a great job of creating a gym community where everyone feels welcome and supported - where you can walk in and get top-notch coaching while having a lot of fun. John is always looking for fun new toys for the gym: as a result, they have a sled, tires, atlas stones, rings...it's like an strongman playground! And for those interested in kettlebell sport, know that you're getting coached by the best of the best. In my first 6 months at the gym, I met and received coaching from some international champions and all-around badasses because of John and Nazo's connections in the kettlebell community. Thanks to the amazing coaches at OKC, I even broke a world record at my last meet! I'm so glad I discovered this place! You all rock!

OKC has sponsored my ultimate frisbee club team over the last few years and I can't speak highly enough about this gym. The trainers really know their stuff, and the atmosphere is super encouraging, supportive, and fun!
