A light-filled spot with lovely books for little and not-so-little ones. We got several sweet books (e.g., Letters to My Grandchild) authored by Lea Redmond, and the warm storefront attendant Elizabeth wrapped beautiful gifts for the grandparents, who will definitely be delighted when they receive their care package. First time here, loved it. So many items for little ones. I don’t have any little ones so I ended up with a color pencil for myself and a squish mellow. My mini teen enjoyed the little trinkets. He purchased a pet rock. I highly recommend even if just to browse.

The manager really knows her stuff and has an inspiring and new display in the windows with a monthly theme or two (eg Black History Month plus Valentine's Day for February) with books that really appeal to the kiddos, not just pretty-cover or famous-author books that grow old on the first read. She's also saved me a few times when I'm searching for the language to discuss some idea or issue with my child - she'll come up with a few books on the theme I mentioned, plus a few on relating topics that would never have occurred to me. The rest of the staff also very helpful and knowledgeable. Truly, this kind of service is why local businesses beat the internet.

Love this children’s bookshop and toy store. Friendly helpful staff. They let kids take books off the shelf and have places to sit and read. And a fabulous book selection.
