Beware of this place!! We had an appointment for a COVID vaccine for my 2 year old daughter. We arrived 10 minutes before and checked in. You can only check in with your phone or kiosk, there’s no person to talk to. After waiting for about an hour, my daughter was having a tough time so we went to the car to get a snack. There wasn’t a way to communicate to this to anyone - the doors are all closed and say they’re with a patient. While in the car I tried to find a number to call and could only find the national MinuteClinic number. Unfortunately there was a wait to speak there as well. When we came back in, I noticed our name was gone from the checked in screen. I checked our online e check in and see that they had canceled our appointment. They never tried to call me to see where we were. I tried to knock to speak to someone and they yelled back that they were with a patient. After waiting 5 more minutes we gave up and left. The national minute clinic person I spoke with said that they had no way of contacting this center, that all they could do was reschedule. We will never come back again.

I received great service here. Booking, check-in, the appointment and picking up the prescription were all very smooth processes. The practitioner was knowledgable, and took the time to explain everything, and both she and the pharmacy staff were very friendly.

This is a terrible place. Don’t recommend it at all to anyone. The lady kicked me out of the room because she was going for lunch since she believed that my insurance wasn’t accepted even though it was.

This is the epitome of why we shouldn't outsource health care to large corporations. We drove over an hour to get here for a B12 injection. Despite having a PA, they refused to give it to her because of "corporate policy" (the injection said weekly and it was not a full week). If this was a real medical office, they could have used common sense and their medical background instead of refusing care. I have lived in Europe multiple years and this is why the US medical system is a joke and not focused on care.

Minute Clinic? More like Hour Clinic. CVS needs to hire more people to work this place. The 2 people there were clearly overworked so I don't blame them exclusively for the wait time. That said I do blame them for not listening at all to anything I said causing the appointment to be over an hour with about 45 minutes of that being just waiting. I had told the first person what I was there for multiple times, he took my info and vitals, then had me do a urine test. After doing all that I was told to wait for the nurse to do a blood draw. I waited for about 30 minutes before knocking on the door to see how much longer it would be. She said she was working on getting everything ready. I waited another 5-10 minutes and she called me in. I told her why I was there and she confused the reason multiple times which I corrected each time. She then read off all of these blood tests that were being ordered that I specifically said I didn't need because they had been done a week ago. I told her and the previous person this multiple times. She looked confused then annoyed then called the previous person and told them to cancel the urine test so turns out that was another waste of time. After taking another 5 minutes or so to re-order the correct tests she told me I was to go to another testing center to get the blood work done. Maybe this part is my fault but I was under the impression the blood work would be done at the clinic otherwise I would have just called my regular doctor and asked him to send in a blood work order for the tests I wanted and it would have been way quicker than this. Finally I was told I needed to pay $20 for the service despite my insurance saying it was fully covered. I understand this is not the nurse's fault, there are 1000s of insurance plans and she can't know the details of all of them. She just goes off what the computer says. However, when I asked her to have the billing department reach out to my insurance and I would pay later if it was verified that I even had to pay she rolled her eyes and got visibly annoyed again which is weird because its not like if I don't pay right there then she doesn't get paid.

Absolutely horrible! I have COVID and need paxlovid. Set up an appointment and find out after I'm sitting there that they don't accept alameda alliance or any form of state run insurance. I said can I please pay for the prescription and they said no it's not an option. I said if I don't have insurance can I pay for the medicine and they said yes. I said can I be John Doe and get some medicine and I will pay for it, flat out no! Place is God damn gimmick!

The employees were great. But cvs minute clinic need to take the “walk ins” off. Do not go if you do not have an appointment you will spend hours waiting before even being seeing. Make an appointment and don’t waste your time. Aetna shame on you as well!

Clueless person running the show here. Took two hours to prescribe the medicine that she couldn't find in her system. Which cost 190$. The cvs folks are snappy and rude. It's amazing how horrible healthcare can be.

My practitioners were kind and explained well. I made a appointment, so i didn’t wait at all. That was also good.

Brought my daughter here while we were on vacation and it was a mess. It took us half of the day as we walked in and didn't have an appointment, so we waited. Once she had been seen, the pharmacy was closed for lunch, so I asked the provider to send the script to a pharmacy in San Francisco as that is where we were heading. When I went to pick it up, the pharmacist would not fill it because no dosing instructions were given and they hadn't been able to contact the provider. I called and got a person and explained the situation. They said tried to get the provider but was unable to because she was seeing other patients but said she would leave a note so she was aware. Later that afternoon, I got a text message saying "sorry you cancelled your appointment," which I absolutely did not. The dosing for the script was never called in and I suspect the provider deleted our appointment as a no show so we didn't receive any surveys or anything to provide feedback. Bottom line: we wasted half a day of our vacation and still ended up without medication for my daughter. HORRIBLE Service.
