“Ben is amazing! So after a fiasco with an online suit site, I went to google to see the nearest custom suit maker near me. He popped up and my fiance and I seen the reviews and reached out. We set up a call so we could catch the vibe and see if this was the best option for us and it definitely was.My fiance and I both decided to get custom suits made for our May wedding in Mexico. He also comes to you and does a design session where he doesn't make decisions for you but with you and that was an experience we haven't had before. We designed the suits down to the stitch color and he did not disappoint. I'd add photos but we are planning to do a first look so I'll be back after the wedding! I got my suit first and my goodness it's way better than I expected. The pricing was also very reasonable. We got exactly what we wanted within our budget. The quality and attention to detail is unmatched. You won't find suits like his anywhere so If you are on the fence about reaching out to him, just hit him up! Thanks so much for making this experience enjoyable during our madness of planning! You've got customers for life with us!”

“I enjoyed shopping in Personal Pizazz. The selection of vintage looking clothing is strikingly well done. I particularly enjoyed the discount rack with items from $5 to $75. There are rows of cool tops, cashmere items and jeans for days. The jewel selection is very interesting and I'm sure everyone would find something to take home.”

“My friend and I popped into this shop last weekend, and left laughing and happy - with full bags, mind you. And you know why? ADAM. Roark people, keep this man. Give him a raise. Do whatever to retain him as a representative of your brand. He was helpful, and spoke so highly of your products and designs - neither of which we knew a thing about before last week. Yes, we may have purchased something if he weren’t who he is, but it was he who kept me adding to my pile.”

Staff was incredibly kind and helpful, offered an alternative when the item i was looking for did not come in a specific color, and ended up loving the alternative more than the original item! I will 100% be returning, great customer service!”

“This store has the widest selection UC Berkeley apparel and accessories anywhere in Berkeley. Some other places may have one or two things this place doesn't have but this store for sure has the widest selection of clothing and everything else CAL related!! And the staff and owner are super nice.. FYI..they got a website..idk if everything in the store is on there but you can an idea of what you're looking for before you come in.”

“I cannot say enough good things about Slash and their employees! Drove past and taking a quick glance at their outdoor selection I decided to stop and check it out. I have heard of Slash in the past but never visited the store myself. The employees were so nice and helpful, sized me and let my partner and I try on a bunch of pairs of pants and overalls. Left with about $250 worth of clothes. They were all really well priced, like almost better priced than retail, which is rare for Berkeley vintage stores. Thank you so much Slash you are my newest favorite store and I will be back every time I get an itch for some cool vintage clothes.”

“Thank you so much to Ricky, the manager of Fall Rush in Berkeley. We were in town to move our daughter into the dorm for her freshman year. We wanted to get some CAL merch, but the other stores were all closed. Apparently, Fall Rush was also supposed to be closed, but Ricky and some of his employees stayed open to accommodate the many people who were in a similar situation as we were. Super grateful to have such incredible customer service and great selection of products, too!”

“Really interesting store!
Very good selection of clothing of all different styles, and the price depends on how new the item is. If its brand new its resale price will be about the same as the regular price, but if something is used it can go down up to $100.
Suprisingly, the main thing i got was hiking supplies. They have a very good outdoor selection including backpacks, clothing, and boots.
I got a really good pair of hiking boots, a down Patagonia jacket (for very cheap), a skirt, and a dress.
Highly recommend checking this place out!”

“Loved the abundance and variety of clothing! However it really was hard to try and move all of the clothes because they were so stuck together! Overall cute store, lots to look at!”
