They only seem to carry xs and s. Piles of tiny clothing but barely in medium and no larges that I saw. Also they don't take cash unless you have exact change.

Jennifer is the best and the other super nice lady so sorry I didn't get her name.I am very difficult to buy myself something lately. Jennifer gave me all the jeans that could possibly work and left with the perfect pair and some great tops. It was a real nice time, thank you

I was reading sign at front door advertising a sale when I realized that I had had not received my discount, they had several excuses for not giving me any discount. So I choose not to spend any of my family's money at any store associated with the J.Crew company or Madewell companies.

Don't expect any sort of customer service or friendliness from the manager Jennifer here. She is a very rude and bitter person. If you work in customer service you should know how to treat and communicate with people. She is very short with you, will stare at you and act like she doesn't care enough to help, and is super unwilling to assist you if she doesn't want to offer any other options. She is probably the rudest madewell employee I have ever encountered. I shop with the brand regularly and this is the first time I have ever felt degraded and looked down upon when all I was asking was if there was anything we could do about a return I was making. The interaction was so uncomfortable and awkward. She was bobbing her head no and just looked at me and would go "....okay" "i cant help you" "no...." "i don't even know what you want me to do..." like I was dumb and told me to take the item and obviously just wanted me to leave so she didn't have to help me. Did not want to help or offer any assistance. She gave me the customer service number and said "you can call them but they're just gonna tell you what I did..." and stuck the post it on the counter. I didn't know what to say cause I was so uncomfortable. I kept going back with her very calmly and she would just stare at me and not say anything. Biting her lip and uncomfortably/intensely looking at me. It wasn't until 8 minutes later the other manager stepped in and finally asked what was going on. I explained what happened and the item wasn't worn or washed. The tags were off and that was it. She actually helped me while Jennifer strolled into the back angrily and annoyed. Luckily the other girl offered me store credit but they refused a full refund even though I purchased it yesterday for a gift and returned today, as the person didn't like it. I have never experienced someone so demeaning and rude. I hope that if I ever have to come back she is not there. I have escalated this to customer care. All and all I had left the store tearing up due to the fact I had personal things going on and didn't want to do this in the first place. Then I was made to feel like nothing by her so that completely ruined my day and made me breakdown as if I didn't have enough going on already. As a manager, she needs to control her anger towards customers and be more accommodating and willing to offer up any other options that are possible. Thank you to the other manager who helped me. This was my worst experience at any madewell ever. Jennifer needs retraining on customer service. As one myself I can definitely say I would never have expected management to treat people with such disrespect. Horrible. I never raised my voice at her and asked very politely for any other options such as an exchange or credit at first but eventually I just couldn't take the disrespect and angry short responses and ended up just asking the other girl to take over the interaction once she asked what was wrong because i just couldn't handle the treatment from Jennifer. The rest of my day and mood was ruined by her bad vibes and bad attitude.

As much as I love the style of clothing and the friendliness of the staff, the clothing itself is kind of a hit or miss on quality. I have a red dress from the company that I loved in store! First wash in luke warm water and shrank a decent amount and is now an adult tunic. As for jeans, a pair that I got almost exactly a year ago and don't regularly wear decided to rip in a difficult area and unfortunately 30 day policy doesn't cover random repairs or exchanges (understandable). But not sure if I'd stick with the brand, cost wise from personal experience makes me hesitant as I have old navy jeans that were half the price and have lasted years.

My wife found a cute purse and some other clothes. Prices weren't quite SF level but more Nordstrom / Macy's. Sales person was very friendly, good at the soft sell. Overall nice experience.

I recently found out this location carried men's in store and was very impressed with the selection and customer service. They were all so helpful and friendly. They even offered to order an item online and made check out so easy! Fourth Street needed more men's clothes so I definitely will be returning back as I'm very pleased.

This store needs to get it together. This is the second time I've wasted my time coming to return products and they're closed. No sign that even says when they'll be open. I understand there are staffing shortages, but this is ridiculous.

I love this store and brand! The only reason why this had one star is that this location is small and only had one line open. There were three associates working and only one person working a register when there are three. You should have used two to speed up the line because it wrapped around one of the aisles and as a shopper, I would be annoyed trying to look at clothes or items and people are in the way. I was able to find what I wanted. Upon entry, I was greeted at the door with my dad by an employee. Then afterward while we were in the store shopping no one bothered to ask if we needed help. We browsed around first then picked up a few goods that I liked. The line, as stated before was pretty long and took longer to check out than usual. However, the employee who rang people up at the register was nice and knowledgeable. I will be back if ever I am in the area, but I prefer locations that are bigger.
