I came here to get help after finding out I had osteoarthritis I was really interested in finding items to help me with pain and long term management. I received excellent customer service and recommend products, the person who helped me was very knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend Lhasa Karnak Herb Company

Amazing spot, life saving. It's very hard to procure "chanka piedra," which is an affordable herb that defeats kidney stones. I ordered it online from a rare retailer who said it was in stock, only to have them cancel my order two weeks later, there are frauds out there like that who will ask people with kidney stones to wait two extra weeks so they can hold your money for that time. So I foudn Lhasa Karnak and was surprised they had chanka piedra in tincture and powder form, and basically saved my friend's life who was struggling, getting kidney stones again two months after the $80,000 laser procedure at highland, those alopathic hospitals are just out to make as much money as possible off us, I solved that problem for under $20 with Lhasa Karnak, and the quack alopathics wanted a 4 month wait and $80k, they commit malpractice every day, they work 30 hour shifts and are practicing with drunken-levels of drowsiness after roughly hour 10 in their shift. I love the 4 star reviews on here because some overworked clerk at Lhasa Karnak didn't make enough small talk. Don't worry this place is WORLD CLASS, definitely a place I would travel to if needed. Kidney stones are preventable as long as you have Lhasa Karnak, but I know some people prefer to get kidney stones and get the $80k space laser boombooms blasted into their back

Lhasa Karnak is a staple, but I wish the person doing the hiring cared more about customers feeling taken care of.I also wish I could give 5 stars, but the customer service was awful.The two women working at the counter were snooty and grumpy.I came in (on 6/10 or 6/11) with a smile, my partner and a list of tinctures I needed.There was only one other customer.I was treated as a nuisance, like somehow just being there I was interfering with the weighing of herbs they were doing.Neither woman working there ever smiled or welcomed me.The younger one finally helped me, but interrupted me when I spoke.She also did not know anything about basic female cycle support, (and didn’t offer to ask the other woman working there to help me).I wish I could say I felt supported as a customer. But I didn’t.I ended up getting all my Qs answered and custom tinctures from a wonderful herb shop in San Rafael.

similar experience as others - good inventory but really poor customer service. not welcoming, slightly helpful. you generally just want to get in and get out as quickly as possible which isn’t what a place that centers holistic healing should feel like ???

TERRIBLE STAFF - not at all knowledgeable and were very aloof. Maybe so because they don't know much. I spoke to the two people working and neither could answer simple questions nor did they even care. Why work there if you won't bother to get to know things or be helpful to your customers?? One asked me if I had any questions because she was thirsty and she was waiting so she could get a drink - that's not how to talk to costumers.

It's almost laughable how hostile you all are. I really want to love this place, it smells so good, but I wont be back. What's making you all so peevish? The smallest question about an herb sets off the guy at the counter, "What do you want?! You want me to cure Covid?!"Of course I don't want you to cure Covid. But you sell herbs. So you ought to know something about what they're good for. Give me a disclaimer if that's the issue; say "This is what this herb is known for." Bc I can buy a lot of this stuff at Sprouts a lot cheaper.Whatever. I'm not coming back. When you go out of business I'll know why. I've found another local herb shop. Too bad the owners don't seem to care about all these bad reviews - we spent a lot of money here over the years.

Awesome staff and best place to go to get fresh herbs at a great price. Someone in the spice and air at Berkeley Bowl recommended this place vs. paying $$$$ for one jar of herb when I only needed 1 teaspoon.

The vibe here is so wierd. Ive shopped here 3 to 4 times. I love a good herbal shop but I just feel the workers have this vibe that's not positive. And by looking at the reviews I'm not the only one. I won't be back.

Super friendly & knowledgeable employees. Great selection. Can't say enough good things about this spot. I come in about half a dozen times a year & never had a bad experience!!!
