I had a great experience at this LabCorp location today. Walked in without an appointment on a Friday morning. Kiosk check-in was smooth (ID and medical card get scanned so I didn't have to enter everything manually) then I was called up to the check-in counter within five or ten minutes. Shortly afterwards the lab tech called me and he (Julian? Julius?) was kind and professional. I was in and out in under 30 minutes.

Yep, this Labcorp has earned its current rating. Going for routine labwork today, the front desk person was cold and indifferent, and the phlebotomist lacking in people skills. When the phlebotomist tried to force my left arm completely straight, I told her to please stop forcing it, that my elbow had been broken and doesn't straighten how she was attempting to force it. Her reaction: "How was I supposed to know?" rather than, "Oh, so sorry!" Boy, if you can use another service or a different location, I recommend you do. This Labcorp location is going to disappoint.

Not a bad experience until I realized they didn't test for two lab orders I gave them in person, printed on paper. It's a very simple task to enter it into the computer. They completely forgot to enter it in. It delayed a procedure for me and impacted my future plans since my doctor didn't have results of those two lab orders. Thank you to Jessie, who I spoke to afterwards who was very sympathetic to my situation and acknowledged that this was unacceptable. I decided to go to my medical clinic for redoing the lab test because I can't trust this clinic.

Does anyone not teach the frontline staff customer service skills? On Monday, I arrived for fasting blood work and a urinalysis. Because of the latter test, I needed to drink some water so I was sent to the lobby for water from the water machine. Unfortunately, there were no cups. I asked the receptionist for a cup and she informed me she was part of Radiology not Labcorp so she couldn't give me a cup. She told me to wait for the Labcorp receptionist to return. After a few minutes of waiting, no one appeared. I was pretty "hangry" at the point in time. I went back to the only receptionist is sight who once again informed me she was "Radiology" and couldn't supply a cup for the water bottle. After much knocking on the door, someone from Labcorp came out and tried to find a cup. It took 5 minutes but eventually I got my glass of water and was able to complete my test. Couldn't "Radiology" have supplied a cup? Is it that complicated?

Stay away and go elsewhere if you can. Slow as anything, an hour wait, and they don't honor appts. And the guy at the check-in is snarky and passive-aggressive. Enjoy!

The worst experience with rude staff. I arrived with my lab paperwork. I waited in line. I was told to check in on their electronic system. I did. I got back in line. 10 more minutes passed. When I got to the receptionist I showed her my lab order. She said she could not read it. It was CLEARLY READABLE. I read the lab number to her. She said she could not take that info from me. I then called my doctors office. I was holding on the phone with doctors office who were ready to give her the info. She said she could not take that information over the phone. I go back in line. 10 more minutes pass. Then there were no patients in waiting room. I go up to desk. I am ignored. She rolled her eyes. I wait. I ask if she received my email with the lab work. I asked her if my doctor could email the lab request to them. She said no. Why not? She said no. Finally my doctors office sent ME the paperwork. I showed her a copy of it on my phone. She said she could not accept that. I then asked why she was being so uncooperative and rude. Then she started giving me a lecture on office professionalism. Finally, she agreed to have ME email the lab order to their email address. I did. After that I got in line AGAIN to ask if she received the email with lab report. Waited in line. The front desk person She would not answer me. At that time another woman came from the back. I waited. She did not ask me to come to window. Finally If she worked at Labcorp. She said she did. I proceeded to ask this new person if she received my email with the lB report. I then realized I was being given the runaround, and no matter how many hoops I jumped to get her and her co-worker to get the lab report they were simply not going to do it. I was asked to leave. Security came. I did nothing but ask questions. These women tortured me and treated me with 0 respect. I feel discriminated against and put through torture to get these women to do their job. I am 74 yrs old, a white woman with a Southern accent, and clearly have a disability with my knee. The two black women were rude, unhelpful, unprofessional, abusive, and caused me distress. I also got sicker because of them not allowing me to get my lab work done. I suffered elder abuse, neglect, harassment. The security guard was apologizing for what happened to me. The security guard told me that the two women have been reported in the past, and I am not the only one experiencing abuse. The security guard apologized for what went through, even providing me with information and encouraging me to report the women. I filed a complaint with Labcorp. I will now file a BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU complaint.

Completely disregarded multiple times at labcorp by Mrs. Shanelle. She rolled her eyes at our first encounter and gave me a sassy attitude. Claimed she was with another patient every time I attempted to check in or validate parking. She came out and closed down the kiosks. Clearly having a bad day and letting her attitude stand between her and patients.Unable to validate parking, unable to be seem during business hours.

Checked in at 8:30a with only one other patient in the office and waited until 9:45a until I gave up and left. Tried to ask about wait times after waiting an hour and was told to sit down and wait for my name to be called. It never was. Snarly staff, ploddingly slow and inefficient. Lots of chitty chatty behind the desk as the waiting room overflows. They share an office with the delightful Medical Imaging folks and really should take some pointers on customer service and efficiency. There àre LabCorp offices around - avoid this one if you can.

Agree with the other review. This location doesn’t seem to have the most competent people but I was perplexed that they couldn’t even bother to tell me what kind of tests were being done on me on the visit. Nor did they provide information on how long will the results take or time it would take to be sent to my doctor. For anyone trying to find directions, hope my pictures help! It’s next to the UCSF | John Muir Outpatient clinic above City Sports.

Chanel is hands down one of the kindest people I've ever encountered. I've been getting monthly blood draws at different labs for years, and she made this usually boring task the highlight of my day! She's also excellent at her job: it was a quick and painless blood draw (not everyone can pull that off). I had to bring my baby with me, which can make the process more stressful as I navigate everything with a diaper bag and stroller in tow, but Chanel accommodated us so well and had me and my baby smiling the whole time. Thank you, Chanel!

Waited in lune this morning for labwork. At front of line, the woman behind the desk says I have to check in at kiosk. Waited in line for kiosk. Checked in at kiosk, sat down and watched as the people who checked in after me were called. One lady walked right up to the front desk and said she wanted to be called before everyone else because she had to get to work. Front desk lady said, "you'll be next." She had already been called, got her labwork done and left the office before I went up to see where I was in line. Front desk lady grudgingly searched me up and didn't have anything. Finally she found me and got me completely checked in. I asked if I'd need a urine sample and she said no. When i did eventually got called in phlebotomist says I'll need a urine sample. Tells me to put the sample behind a little door in the bathroom. Behind the little door there were other cups with urine I had to move to fit mine in. I will never use this Labcorp again.

Smooth experience. Check in machines worked, staff was friendly and efficient (Natalie helped us at the front desk), Phlebotomist (Johar) was patient with my nervous teen who was getting blood drawn. We had a terrible experience at another Labcorp location, so it was a relief to have a good experience at this place. The parking lot is under construction and the machines are down, so make sure you get your ticket validated and you won't have to pay for parking.
