I’d like to thank Amanda who not just rang me up at the register but really sparked conversation on what else I could use. I came in to get a replacement jar of my Age Defender face cream. Amanda looked up my account and let me know I had points to redeem (essentially cash) and I l ended up getting a vitamin c retinal that was on my Christmas list but nobody got me. I had tried this with my last set of samples and found out a whole bunch of my beautiful friends use this too!She then engaged on things I haven’t tried and threw in a few samples. I have a routine and have made slight changes. I’ve been with Kiehl’s since visiting their flagship in New York City over 13 years ago. I let nothing else touch my face!Although the hours have changed in the area I’m glad I found time to visit, I don’t think I would have gotten this excellent experience online. This is one of the only brick and mortar stores in the Bay Area. I used to go to Valley Fair but those doors have closed.Amanda, thank you for letting me know about my points as well! The gentleman also greeted me although he was already with customers.Thank you love the customer service please commend the team working on 01/09/2024. See you all again soon.

Excellent customer service. PARYSH is simply the best. She's helped me each time I've visited this location and is really a gem. I feel welcomed, cared for and her knowledge of the products is unmatched. I highly recommend asking for her if she's available.

I went to this store yesterday and I was snubbed by the sales person, super elitist yet he is black like me. Whatever his problem is, is not mine but I felt unappreciated, snugged and belittled. If you go inside this store, make sure you are wearing designer clothes otherwise you will be ignored. Horrible customer service. Pretentious and unnecessary

Great place for all of my skin care regimen needs and body products. I am in love with the Mens products that Kiehl's offer. This location is fairly small but packs a punch. Typically is always stocked and has all the items I am looking for when I need to re-stock or just buying gifts for someone else. When items are sold out or back ordered online this store typically has some type of inventory that keeps me intrigued. Items are a bit on the expensive side but I do not mind because "Quality" is my overall target and quality is what I get every-time. Sales Associate "Parysh" is THE BEST! I just can not get enough of her great customer service she provides. It is like a warm and friendly welcome that you do not want to leave her presence. I sometimes have more of a less friendly interaction with some of the associates at this store but she has enough spirit for everyone who works at this location HANDS DOWN! Energy and service is always impeccable. Parysh is an awesome associate who helps me to find the items I am in need of and also suggesting or recommending new products as they are introduced. She keeps me well informed of sales and other major events thats Kiehl's has. Remarkable employee, I wish all employees have the spirit you embody.I wish everyone at this location had a great sense of urgency to help its customers. I am a rewards Family member and it helps to receive great service you can be proud of. After all the amount of money I spend the service should be met or maybe its just me....Just makes me want to always go back and deal with that one associate who knows how to do a job well done :). On the downside there are always issues with my points being reflected in the system. At times I am always re-confirming my points with any sales associate as their computers are off and does not reflect all the points I have earned which can be very misleading at times. The manager here always does a great job with getting my points balance corrected and reflected immediately for present or future use. As far as the location itself, the location is very rough when it comes to the parking sector. I sometimes have trouble finding a park on a busy weekend or weekday afternoon as it is Berkeley and streets tend to fill up quickly. At times I do luck up with a park right in front of the store which is always great. I mean who doesn't like front row parking. Love this store and its products. Kiehl's fan for life.

Robert and manager at Kiehl's in Berkeley are awesome. I have never stepped into a business in this industry and felt as heard, respected, and welcomed as much as I was here. Product knowledge was on point with very helpful advice, especially for a novice person looking for skin care tips like me. The advice was thoughtful and was more about service than selling a product. The manager even overheard an issue I had with an online purchase and apologized for the experience and was extremely sincere and took ownership of a company issue. This amazing customer service was extended to everyone that walked in the door during my 30-45min visit. Both these employees are stellar and represent Kiehl's and their amazing products beyond expectation.

I love this store and used to come here to buy a lot of things some years ago, during my acting phase. I was inspired after my sister gifted me with the best hand lotion ever! It's pricey, but worth it. They have a leave in conditioner that I like a lot and I've been using it lately. I had forgotten about it. But most recently I got the Magic Elixir for my scalp and my scalp loved it. The itching stopped. I'd buy more but their products have wheat protein or jojoba oil which I'm allergic to. I was greeted upon entry and the person assisting me helped me find something for my scalp and I appreciated it. I really appreciated the help.

I used to be a faithful Kiehl's customer during high school, up until my skin stopped agreeing with my daily regimen, since then I haven't been able to find any products that my skin agreed with except for the avocado eye cream. I'm slowly easing my way into using their staples hoping that I can go back to some of my favorite products. This led me to doing an in-store/curbside pickup some past and current faves so what better time than Black Friday. Anyways, my mom and I were immediately greeted as we walked in and I was helped by another employee. The order pickup process was practically seamless and friendly, BUT the packaging of the order was questionable (see picture for reference). I wasn't even asked if I wanted a bag or reusable one for purchase, so we went about our evening.

This review is about Emily and the products at this location. My bf and I went in a few weeks ago curious about the products when we met Emily, who was so very friendly and knowledgeable about EVERYTHING. She gave us samples and we tried them out for two weeks. We fell in love with the calendula serum infused water cream, powerful strength line reducing concentrate, and the ferulic brew toner. We went in again today and Emily was there to help us. I am extremely satisfied and happy with her patience, knowledge, and energy! She helped us get products we loved and also introduced us to more products we are interested in. Emily made with whole experience enjoyable and we can't wait to go back again. Thank you Emily for making this experience fun, and worthwhile!
