I took my car to the body shop and the insurance give me a rental car from this place, I didn't want the car because I had heard horror histories but I asked 3 times "am I going to be charge " and 3 times the answer was no, so I was feeling brave so I took the car. At the end of everything I got charged $184 and $130, never received a bill like all good thieves are so this company charge the insurance company and it charge me so if you want to know how does it feel to be screw, try enterprise they surely are going to let you know I am not going to email any body, if money is what you want, then enjoy it you horrible people and company

I wanted to give a rave review in regards to Mel and Ms. Vicky (warm, careful driver who picked me up was sweet, & signals - yay!) at the Berkeley location on San Pablo Avenue. I'm not a frequent customer but I recall the first time the efficiency, warmth and care so I returned. Unfortunately, I don't recall the fellow who helped me then but today, after I dropped off the rental, Mel took care of everything and was so proficient helping me from the beginning when I first got the rental until the end when I brought it back. Felt like she really cared and I was taken care of. Kudos on such a wonderful assistant manager to be hired on this team! Tank was full, car didn't have fragrances, got a pick of cars between two colors, & car was clean. Person, who sounded male, on Saturday 16th when I called was very nice over the phone too! Picked up quickly. Everyone I've encountered has smiled, acknowledged me even though Mel was helping me. Thumbs up!

I went into Enterprise on a Saturday before holiday and it was naturally crazy because everyone is headed out of town. This review is for Mel! I'm assuming she's the manager the way she handled the crowd. She was answering phones, making calls to get cars and helping customers, talk about multi-tasking! I was getting over the flu and getting ready for a big relo to LA, she was so polite and helpful. She made sure I was on my way as soon as possible, with excellent service and in a very comfortable car. Thank you for making my trip seamless Mel, I really appreciate your effort and hard work!!!

Excellent customer service. I've rented a lot of cars from enterprise over the years because of my job. I do a lot of traveling and and because of past experiences I only rent with Enterprise. I have rented cars from enterprise branches all over the country, and have to say that this branch provides the most exceptional customer service I have received. Greg and his team always provide a very fast experience for me. They always have my vehicle ready when reserved, it's always clean, gassed up, most importantly they're always friendly and accommodating.

Horrible service , they couldn't find my reservation and then took for ever to be served. The man went outside and started washing cars. Really horrible service I might just go to hertz or somewhere else next time this is ridiculous

I wish I needed to rent another car right now! Real talk folks, I rent quite a bit of rides. Each time is a pretty mundane, a non welcoming routine. This rental location has really raised the bar! The service here is amazing, really amazing doesn't do it justice. The staff was efficient, extremely friendly, on top of their games, and worked magic like I've never seen. Each person who I was handed off to, to complete my reservation was outstanding to deal with and left me feeling completely satisfied with my purchase. They really have customer service down here friends. They took care of all my needs and did it all with a smile. If available, when your searching for a rental don't hesitate to search right here. No need to look further, they have it all. Thank you again!

Such a terrible experience. Reserved an economy car, was given a massive truck that I can't park in my driveway or most places around town. Asked for a replacement. It's days later, and I haven't heard a peep. Have tried calling but was put on hold forever. Will never go here again.

The gentleman working the counter today 3/28 @ 3pm gave me the best customer service I have ever received. SO NICE...patient...personable and overall just a really polite and awesome person. There are a few options of car rental places in my area but this is where I will be coming back to. Such an awesome experience.

Very friendly, personable, and helpful. Process was quick and easy, and they had multiple options available for the size and type of car that I was renting (they patiently waited for me to look through all the options and choose one!). Very convenient that they have after-hours drop-off as well. Definitely plan to come back here if I ever need to rent a car again from Berkeley. Tip: Inquire into how much added insurance will cost - they didn't tell me the price per day at first, but it turned out to be very reasonable/definitely worth the cost given the duration of my trip and the number of people I was driving.

My Honda got total 3 weeks ago, and Allstate insurance reserved me an economic car! Called the store, and spoke with Alex to confirm about the car availability and pickup time. Alex was kind enough to bump me up to a compact size ...but wait...Gene noticed that I can upgrade the car to the Malibu for a small change! So here goes the Malibu for 5 days!! Fast forward to the day 5th, Gene called to remaind me about returning the car on Monday! Not only that he remainded me that Enterprise also sells used cars. He gave me a few local numbers to call. Daaaang man.. Talking about above and beyond customer service experience.. I gave Alex 5 stars, and Gene 5.5 stars

This location of Enterprise is a couple of blocks from M & M Garage. Once I brought my car in to be fixed I called Allstate, where I spoke w/ someone who made arrangements for the rental car. I called Enterprise and they sent a friendly woman to pick me up and bring me back to the office to pick up the rental. The car, a Hyundai Elantra, worked out just fine, although I didn't drive it much. I returned it today after calling M & M and determining that my car was ready. Checking out was equally easy, w/ friendly, helpful staff and the same nice woman drove me back to M & M to retrieve my car. Allstate paid all the costs for the rental.

I will never rent from Enterprise again! I reserved an Economy car for a couple of days, while my car was in the shop, and unbeknownst to me, they put me into a more expensive car. When I learned that the price exceeded the max allowed by my insurance company by $20 per day, I had to cancel it and went to Hertz.

Extremely helpful,my car got broke in, need a car, my insurance arranged for me to go to enterprise. Gave me a confirmation number and told me I could go to any enterprise near me. Except the airport one in Oakland. I work in Oakland, my friend drove me to the enterprise 3030 broadway in Oakland. Got there a woman name Megan was extremely rude made impossible for me to rent a car. She had a answer for everything. I was very frustrated, left the enterprise in Oakland and drove to 1706 enterprise in Berkeley. I walk in, they welcome me with a big smile, no rush or this and that. I told them about my bad experience in Oakland, they made me feel extremely welcome. I am extremely thankful. If I could give them more stars I would. Great customer service. Maybe Megan could learn something from enterprise of Berkeley.
