My wife and I went to two other rug stores before landing in Istanbul Rug in Berkeley. This place was a great source for a beautiful rug. We were shown many rugs that fit our design and budget, but the one we decided on was at their Menlo store. They arranged to have it delivered and set up to our home in Oakland and included a great pad. You have to go to Istanbul Rug for your next addition to your home.

Amazing collection! Ended up buying two beautiful Kazak rugs. They are willing to bring the rugs for you to try… The staff and the owners are super nice and knowledgeable.

Amazing store with beautiful rugs! Giray was incredibly helpful, and found a bunch of rugs for me to try at home, including tracking down and having a semi-antique Heriz washed for me. I brought three home, fell in love with one of them, and brought the other two back. The whole process was lovely, and I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Istanbul Rug is top notch. We've used their rug cleaning service many times over the past years and our oriental rugs always come back looking great. Most importantly Jay and team always are timely with their pick-up and return. It's great to be able to trust our rugs in their care.

We had a fantastic experience at Istanbul Rug. The staff was wonderful and patient as we looked through dozens of rugs until we found the one we wanted. The purchase was smooth and delivery the next day. The in-store and delivery staff were courteous and professional. We will definitely shop at Istanbul rug again!

Wow! What an experience buying rugs from Istanbul Rug. Menmet and his colleagues were professional and helpful. There was no pressure selling. Just helpfulness and knowledge regarding the rugs. Their delivery service was also great. I have found my rug store. Recommend to all. Dan E.

Shopping for rugs online can be a difficult task, but I was thrilled when someone recommended me to visit Istanbul Rug Berkeley. They have an amazing collection of rugs and I am so happy with my 9 x 12 Mamluk rug that I just had to come back and write about it. It is high quality and really luxurious looking, but the best part is that the prices are not out of reach. The owner was great and made the effort to talk to me more about different price options. Even if you're on a budget, there are still some beautiful rugs that you can find in their store!

You only need to look at one place for a beautiful rug - Istanbul Rug. After eight months of looking for rugs online and in stores, we finally checked out Istambul Rugs. Within three days, Oggi and his crew were at our home, showing us different rugs. Oggi has an incredible eye for what works well. He is also very good at knowing what a potential client likes. We came in for two rugs and ended up with four rugs. The rugs make our home feel like a home. They're beautiful. Living with them feels like living in fine contemporary art. The rugs are hand loomed silk and wool. They're vegetable dyed, too. The quality is excellent. You can see and feel the difference from rugs we looked at from other name brand places like ABC, Arhaus, Loomy, or West Elm. Five stars all around - I highly recommend Istanbul Rugs.

Istanbul Rug has an amazing selection of beautiful rugs and even more AMAZING customer service! I bought a beautiful rug from them a few years ago. We recently moved and the rug didn't fit in our new space. I brought the old rug into Istanbul Rug and they gave me the full price I paid in 2018 towards a new rug! The other great part of the experience was the trust they showed us. We couldn't decided which of two rugs would work best in our new home. They let us bring both rugs to our house so we could see them both in our space. They didn't even let us give them a down payment. Overall they're wonderful. Go check them out if you're in the market for a Turkish carpet!
