When the insurance company sent our car to their body shop, they decided to test to fix a totaled car for cheap and lowballed the estimate. We wanted a second opinion.
Golden Gate Collision was very professional and accommodating when we had to transfer a vehicle from the other body shop which tried to undercut the damages to our vehicle. Paul was fantastic and lightning fast in putting together an estimate that more accurately depicted the damages to the vehicle. He he was always ready willing and able to provide updates. Paul and his team accomplished in 2 days what took the other body shop took weeks to even get in motion.

Our 1989 Toyota Camry was damaged by a hit and run vehicle. It needed a new rear bumper. Golden Gate Collision's bid was substantially less than the first bid we received. The work was done in two days instead of seven. The repair was so excellent in color and fitting, that it was impossible to see it had been damaged. So we were very happy. Then, when we got in the car, we saw it had been throughly detailed inside as well as outside, which we didn't expect. We've been enjoying that as much as the new bumper. We would definitely take our car to Golden Gate Collision again.

I came to Golden Gate Collision center for an estimate on the parts and repair cost of fixing collision damages on my vehicle's tire and wheel as result of hitting road hazard. Owner Mr. Paul was down to earth. He walked me through the damages, took detailed photos, inquired supplier for parts and patiently complied estimate with reasonable quotes which emailed to me later.

My Subaru Forester was rear ended after Covid in 2020 and Harry was the owner at the time. They did a very good job, repairing the rear cargo door, etc. However, several screws came loose on the rear cargo door latch. I went back to the shop in March 2023 and found that Harry had retired and there was a new owner named Paul, I spoke with Paul briefly and he right away directed me to the person who was able to take off the necessary molding to get to the latch and secure it with the bolts tightly. I highly recommend this shop, especially for cars like my Subaru!

This is a family owned business and they all are so responsive, supportive, communicative, and attentive! I got into a car accident in December of 2022 and got my car back in February 2023. Paul the owner and his son Paul dealt with my very complex and reluctant to cooperate insurance to get the best deal and best plan to fix my car. They helped order all new parts for my 2022 Subaru when my insurance would not allow for it. Paul also got me hooked up with a rental car for the 2 months my car was in the shop. They did have some of their technicians/painters out, insurance being very difficult, and some parts ordering delays, but Paul was so kind enough to get me a rental car! I don't know any other shop that would've done that plus my insurance policy did not include rentals which left me carless. They did a great job with the car making it look better than before and even offered a post-month checkup to detail/service the car again. They are very detail oriented and take pride in their work. I am definitely glad I took my car here especially because they are Subaru certified!!

My car was hit in San Francisco and had the front completely destroyed. Paul and his son were on top of it from the beginning and offered to send a tow truck out when GEICO didn't "have anyone available". He got the process up and running and was super straight forward with the process. My insurance wasn't the easiest to work with but they kept me updated every step of the way and let me know what was going on. GEICO wanted to cheap out on the reconstruction but they advocated for using as many OEM pieces as possible. They were awesome from start to finish and I got my car looking good as new. Hopefully I don't need an auto body shop but if I did I would go back in a heart beat.

I don't know what happened to this business under the new ownership but I can honestly say that now the work I had done was the same shortcut low grade work I could have gotten from any scammer shop. Definitely not the hands on mom and pop approach as the old ownership had.

This business was outstanding!! Paul and his son Paul were efficient, great communicators, and returned a sparkling repaired auto to me! Their pricing was fair transparent and no BS! Harry and the whole team at Golden Gate Collision are amazing. My car was hit on the highway and his team not only repaired it beautifully, but also helped me navigate the whole process of working with multiple insurance agencies. Harry was patient and explained all steps to me to make sure I understood the repairs and work being done. He followed up with me throughout the process and I felt very cared for. I would recommend him to everyone I know. In the future he will be the only person I bring my car to if I ever need work done again on it. Thank you so much Harry and your whole incredible team.
