“I live in Denver, and have been looking for a replica of my friend's fruit bowl for years (thank you, Google image Search!). I called the store, and Anna helped me to find what I was looking for, and set the bowls aside. The owner, Max, sent the bowls out a few days later, and they arrived in perfect condition a few days after that. I wish I could have visited this store in person, but super grateful for Anna and Max's help!! Thank you both so much!”

“The selection of gifts are vibrant, uniquely designed, and thoughtfully curated. I appreciated how the store owner allowed me to pair and match various baskets even though they were filled with inventory. I was able to pick up last-minute Christmas presents from Nepal, Kenya and India. If you are looking to add more color or geometric designs to your household, there's a drool-worthy section of constellation-inspired houseware (like salt cellars with stars on them) and beautiful basket planters all over the shop.”

“This little shop is badass. Dude is super nice too. Very unique collection and his prices are decent. He is somewhat flexible when haggling with you. The only thing negative I can say about this place is that the music played in the store is often times way too loud. It can be difficult to hear someone standing right next to you. The best thing about this place is his antique jewelry. I purchased some stunning pieces for my daughter's senior prom and they were absolutely perfect.”

“A Priori is one of my most favorite stores. It is truly gorgeous with so many unique and perfect items. I go in to purchase one gift and always leave with a few extra beautiful things that were too special to pass by. It's all put together and displayed wonderfully, so the vibe is inviting and relaxing, making it a cheery spot that's easy and fun to stroll through. The owner and staff members seem to have a great time curating everything, really "getting" and caring about their community. I would encourage a stop by this extraordinary store anytime you can.”

I shared a wonderful conversation with him during my shopping experience and was gifted with knowledge of the history and journies of the items in his shop. “Ellington and French is a neighborhood gem. It is the most delightful little gift shop, and it always smells wonderful the moment you walk through the door. My mother had received an email about their holiday champagne sip and shop sale, so of course we had to go! We were greeted with champagne and chocolate, and it looked like a winter wonderland inside. All of their merchandise is so cute, it was hard not to buy the entire store! We came away with some sweet gift and stocking stuffers for family and hearts full of holiday cheer! If you're ever in the market for a little birthday, holiday, house warming, or "just because" gift; or if you just need a joyful pick me up, stop by Ellington and French!”
“I just ordered a beautiful fruit arrangement for my sister’s birthday. When the delivery driver attempted to deliver the arrangement to my sister’s home, she’d already left her home without me knowing. The delivery driver named Yas contacted me to tell me she couldn’t reach anyone at my sister’s home. I live in a different city and unfortunately couldn’t reach my sister either by phone. I asked Yas if she would be able to make the delivery to another address and I would pay her extra. Yas told me she’d be glad to help me out and no additional money or gratuity would be necessary…just a simple, THANK YOU! I was shocked because gas prices are well over $6 a gallon in the Bay Area! Thank you Yas for going the extra mile (figuratively and literally)…you made my day, but more importantly, you made my sister’s day because she received her beautiful fruit arrangement! Thanks again!”
