Best place to find your luck (California Lottery outlet) and you can send money in minutes through Western Union. The name "Friendly Market" relates to the owner -he's super friendly and very pleasant! Close to the BART Station, too!

This shop is student friendly provide basic necessities with price not exorbitant. It's the brightest shop on the block lit up like xmas tree. Not eyesore just a savior to some that may have small emergency. On the same token, the homeless are out front doing their thing. Some are humble and quiet, but there are some that will attack without provocation. Not fault of the shop I'm pretty they reported to the city, but little is done to help them. So whatever situation you're in and need to hop on BART this shop may help you should you meet what they have.

I've been coming to the Market over 20 + years I'm not sure why the Market started to decline. I've heard rumors of threaten to close it down however since its evident your trying to relaunch a cultural icon that should have never been threatened in the first place Offer the long time vendors an incentive to return. Give some to those who have u unselfishly gave back. At the end of the day it's about the people coming together to celebrate all things artistic and cultural.

It is back, almost as it was previously. There are a couple of vendors that are close to me, that has great stuff. Pride hatz has been on the circuit for a while. The weather was nice, and it was nice to see family and friends.
