Walking in my nose becomes curious, then my eyes think "when have we ever seen that before... never". Each time I go in with our best vase and ask for "whatever inspires you" the vase pales in comparison to the flowers that adorn it at pickup. We have an elderly family member living with us which causes a lot of extra work, each new bouquet is a big difference maker in our home! Best flowers and flower combos and bouquets around!

Ordered an arrangement for a friend to be delivered the next day... left preferences blank, and I'm so glad she did. She did an absolutely *stunning* bouquet. I also appreciated she emailed me the evening I placed the order to let me know she had everything arranged to deliver the next day.

I'm so happy that I called today. I didn't know what I was looking for, I just wanted to send flowers to my granddaughter for her 1st birthday. Janet patiently heard me and suggested some pink tulips. She was so helpful and texted me a picture and the perfect vase. My son send me a photo and it was perfectly placed in a box full of pink tissue. The flowers were extraordinary fresh and perfectly standing . For now on, this is my preferred place! kim

Highest review possible. Janet is truly an artist. The flower arrangements Janet put together for us were exquisite. She assembled a combination of colors and textures I never would have seen in my imagination myself, but worked beautifully together. Add, this was for a memorial, which is an occasion that leaves very little time or emotional energy for family to think about pink (?) or yellow (?) or who cares (?). Instructions were "something colorful, not white," and aside from that, we left the floral design to Janet. What arrived to the venue was artwork, perfectly matched to the spirit of the person and occasion. The colors were seasonal, so perhaps accidental, but somehow colorful enough to brighten the dark wood walls of a Bernard Maybeck hall, but muted enough to be appropriate for the occasion. Leftover bouquets filled our homes for at least 2 weeks, brightened our days, and left us smiling. I would not hesitate to work with Freshly Cut Florist again, and will.

This place is one of the greatest finds in my recent experience from north Berkeley / Kensington area. Run by local owners and workers they hand select and curate an impeccable selection. They are always generous with suggestions and the price is very reasonable!! Highly suggest to work with them for any small or big occasion

Janet is an artist. She knows how to put together arrangements better than any florist I have been to. She also always has "freshly cut" flowers. Most flowers I have received from her lasted a least a week, and some a lot longer. I admit, I love flowers, and probably buy more than the average person. But having something around that makes me feel happy for a week or two is always a treat. I have also bought bouquets from her, and a Christmas Wreath that lasted probably longer than it should have... (Is February too late to take down your wreath). So if you are near Kensington and want something gorgeous, this is your place.

I LOVE Freshly Cut! Outrageous quality, gorgeous flowers, always top notch! I’ve been buying from them since they were over in Berkeley (across from Monterey Market) and now their Kensington location is just perfect.I purchased flowers for my Mom in November and they were beautiful. Last week I purchased flowers for my Boss’s birthday and she freaked out! Said they were the most beautiful flowers she’d ever received! It was a winner for sure. :)I can’t say enough good things about Freshly Cut!

I asked for a bouquet, and got nine stems that didn't look great together color wise because the selection was so limited. I was in a rush or would have gone elsewhere. There was not even any greenery added to fill it out. It cost $50 and my sister said the flowers began wilting the next day. Won't go back.
