Sales workers chitchatting non stop amongst themselves. Not professional and not a good ambiance for shopping. Won't go back.

Very cute toy shop down this street. It's 2 stories and is decorated from top to bottom. Definitely a great place to bring your kids or just to look around if you just like cute things in general. They have gift wrapping here as well and there's some children's books on the top floor. Lots of unique toys that you generally won't find in big retail stores with a toy section, but they have some popular and familiar characters, brands, and series too (Minecraft, Sonic, etc.). Of all the shops down this street, I think this one stood out the most.

I came in with my daughter because both of us has never been to follow the monkeys it was two employees from my knowledge that was working there neither of them greeted us when we walked in and one employee with a long ponytail she was very nasty and rude I watched how she greeted every customer and asked if they needed help not once did her or any other employee acts did we find anything okay and both of them were acting like we didn't deserve to be there I attached a receipt just so you guys can see proof that I actually bought something I felt very uncomfortable and we were not treated fairly I'm not sure if it if it's because we're black or because they thought we were going to steal something it shouldn't matter the color of the skin everyone should be treated fairly and me and my daughter wasn't

I’ve been to the 4th Street store in Berkeley and the Albany Store on Solano Ave and both were magical- beautiful groupings of toys, knowledgeable and friendly staff . Great selection. Love it!

Quite disappointed as I purchased some things for my kids as souvenirs and the pen I purchased did not work at all. Another item broke the first day. Most disappointed about the pen not working! Definitely try things out prior to purchase if possible.

To the older woman who was guarding the door today: If you are assigned the task of being the literal gate keeper to the shop, pls feign some enthusiasm and kindness for the customers that show up to support your business. Your cold body language from your furrowed brows to your tightened lips and clipped tone is the reason why you're losing business to Amazon. We decided we'd rather shop where we are treated with RESPECT and not just tolerated. There is an amazon store directly across the street, but my mother and I were excited to take our 2 yr old son to shop here and support local small business. The older woman who was guarding the door, didn't acknowledge us patiently waiting and instead walked around us to talk enthusiastically to a man who was with his german Shepard. We patiently waited by the rope with our masks on, I held my son in my arms while he quietly watched the kids inside. She returned a few minutes later and asked in a flat tone: "How many of you?" I said "3" and she ROLLED her eyes and tightened her lips as if she was annoyed or disgusted that she had to let us in. I looked at her and said "no, I change my mind." As I walked away with my family, she muttered "ok...?" as if she's confused. Don't be confused by customers leaving to shop elsewhere when you make it clear that we are not welcomed!!!!

Five Little Monkeys is super cute!!! I'm a regular customers here each time I need a gift for friends & family kids gifts. Everyone is so friendly and very helpful. Each time I come in here I always get lost on what I need to get or know what to get and the staff always go above and beyond to be helpful and give me suggestions. If you're like me and you prefer small boutiques like this vs going to a large shop this is the place for you. I get overwhelmed going to large malls or big toy shops. Sometimes when you go to these types of shops you can find some unique finds.

This is a old fashioned toy store, and has two floors of fun. They have both new and older style toys. They have puzzles, dolls, art supplies, electronic toys for all ages. But what I truly love about this establishment is the wide assortment of educational games and toys.

The manager at the store on 4th St. is not nice. I like this store when she is not around. She can be even rude.
