It was a fine class, but I think it was waaaaay overpriced. Perhaps if I drank, the wine would have made it more valuable but (but not quite a good value) or if the cheesemaking kits came with the price of the class, I'd feel like it was priced appropriately. I’d have done the no wine option, but they don’t offer it.

I took the 3 cheeses course, and it was a blast. Nicole is a great teacher. She understands all those niggly little details that make all the difference.

Booked a virtual charcuterie class with Nicole, as a team building for a small virtual team of 9 - we loved it! Fun, easy to participate in and of course, enjoyable to eat. Nicole is very knowledgable on products, materials, pairings, and is an expert on cheese...brands, styles, how to cut them, how to display them. Highly recommend taking a class with Nicole!

I've taken two virtual classes with Nicole and both were fun and informative! If you are interested in a single session that results in cheese you can enjoy soon after, the chevre/fromage blanc class is for you. I've also taken the three session brie/camembert boot camp during which you go deeper into the science and art of cheesemaking. And the cheese made during that class ages for several weeks in your fridge. Both courses were very engaging and completely adaptable to Zoom-based learning . Nicole clearly loves what she does and is a great teacher, stopping frequently to check for questions or troubleshoot so no one falls behind. She also will share with you the stories and history of the cheese you are making. With the equipment I now have (you can buy additional supplies via the online shop), I've made fromage blanc several times on my own and plan to keep going with more cheesemaking in the future. Thank you!

Yes you can learn al of this at home but if you want to get your cheese fix I promise you will learn much more even if you've made cheese before. Nicole is great!

I did a virtual multi-day brie class with Nicole. She is a very knowledgable instructor, who clearly loves what she does, and also allows for individual creativity. She will tell you where you should follow the rules for maximum results and where you can play around with different variations so you get slightly different flavors, textures. The class is well paced, with enough time to troubleshoot cheese challenges along the way but not so slow that you feel like you're not learning anything new. She gives you enough information that inspires you to make more cheese in the future. I also did a virtual chevre/fromage blanc class with my coworkers with Nicole. She sent the kits to each participant and made this easier for me as an organizer (I didn't need to distribute separately). The class was informative, fun and rewarding when you had cheese to eat that you made yourself the next day! This class was very well received by our group. Thank you again for teaching us a new skill!

My niece had a bridal shower for her twin sister here last weekend. Wasn't at all sure what to expect -- never had attempted to make cheese before. It was such an enjoyable time and amazing experience!! We made 3 cheeses in 3 hours - ricotta, mozzarella and burrata!! It was so awesome and the cheese was all so yummy, as well as the beautiful charcuterie boards and lovely wine that was poured! Our hosts and owner, Nicole, was so awesome. She was so fun and I learned so much from her. Inspired enough to try to make some ricotta this weekend for the first time, and then will give the mozzarella a try as well! Thank you Nicole and FarmCurious for an amazing time and experience!!

Simply the best! That is if you like learning about, making, or simply eating cheese.

We just did a goat cheese making virtual team event with Nicole! She has great energy as well as great knowledge about cheese. Nicole has two camera views to show us the instructions clearly; she also checked chats and addressed questions as we go. The class was interactive and fun. My team had a great time during the class yesterday and everyone’s sharing their cheese pictures today. The whole planning process was smooth and efficient! I’m so glad we came across with Nicole and FARMcurious!

I took the three cheeses in three hours class with a group of friends. We loved it. Nicole has a way of balancing her expertise with a welcoming and "anyone can do this" kind of vibe that made the whole experience delightful. The three hours flew and we learned a ton while also laughing, eating, and coming away with the tools and confidence to do it at home. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to learn to make cheese or just wanting a fun experience with friends. It was both. And it was also delicious.

Nicole led a virtual Chevre-making class for my colleagues and I and it was a blast! Pretty awesome to be able to enjoy such a fun, informative and highly rewarding (we did get fresh cheese out of it after all) experience via Zoom.We were provided with our very own cheese-making kit ahead of the class (with immersion thermometer, cheesecloth and straining basket included) and super detailed instructions to replicate the recipe at home in just 10 minutes. Worth to note that the cheese culture packet that came with our kit was enough to culture an additional 3 quarts of milk beyond the one we prepped, too.Nicole was lovely - she answered all our questions, and gave us pro cheese seasoning/paring and gifting tips.Would highly recommend, especially for large-group/team bonding events. Looks like everyone will be getting fresh cheese this Christmas :-)

I had so much fun (and learned so much) at my first class, I signed up for a second. Nicole is a passionate amazing teacher and so responsive. I emailed her a question a few days after the class and had a response in less than an hour. I love to impress my friends with my cheese making skills. I am the star of the party when I show up with cheese in hand and considering starting my own mini cheese business :)I had to add a second comment. I just took my second class from Nicole and it was even better than the first. I love to impress my friends with my cheese making skills. I can not recommend one of her classes enough! Nicole and Christina are amazing!

I coordinated a team activity for my department of about 20 people. We chose the 3 cheeses in 3 hours with wine, had a grazing board with cheese, meats, fruit, veggies, crackers and spreads. The room is the perfect size, there were 4 stations set up so we could break off into teams to make mozzarella and burrata. We watched the instructor, Nicole, make goat cheese food network style. Once she finished demonstrating, she pulled out a finished version for us all to eat. During the cheese making, we were served 3 different premium Californian wines, all of which were amazing! Nicole was great teaching us the history and science of cheese and all the tricks to make a good product at home. To close out the class, we got chocolate covered pretzels paired with cheese!

I have been to a few cheese classes at Farmcurious and they have been fun and educational. Nicole is so passionate and knows so much about cheesemaking, cheese and even all the science behind it. Class is hands on and fun! It is very thought out and covers everything you need to know. I got a fresh chevre kit and made some at home after learning how to in the class. It's a fun experience whether you come by yourself (I did my first time) or if you go as a date or even group. I highly recommend FarmCurious and cant wait to attend more classes with Nicole.
