Erick and his team were the best to work with. They made the process of buying a home as simple as possible. They were quick with responses (emails and phone calls), available, extremely knowledgeable, so helpful, and just all around super friendly and genuine. Erick Byrd and his team were referred to me by my real estate agent Hannah Kim. He assisted me with preapproval, loan paperwork, and choosing a mortgage loan. Then ensued a 1.5 year search for the perfect home with calls to Erick to repeatedly discuss pricing and specific properties. Erick was always so patient and helpful, giving me personalized service and always taking the time to ensure that I understood the process. When the interest rates rose, Erick was there to boost me up and help me with some adjustments to stretch our finances that kept me in the homebuying game. Finally we found the right home to buy and he was there every step of the way. His team including Monalynn Kerol and Jezreel Gueta were fast, efficient, yet continued to maintain such personalized care. This is truly what a first-time homeowner needs. I greatly appreciated the care they provided that would not have been an option had I gone with an internet mortgage lender. To top off great service, they closed our deal in 15 days instead of the expected 30 day escrow and now I have the keys to my dream home! Thank you to my home-buying dream team :)

I was a first time home buyer, and as a novice, I was not familiar with the process and all the technical terms in the real estate world. I appreciate Erick and his team being so patient in explaining everything to me and provide me with options and details, which lessen a lot of the anticipatory stress. My friend and I recently co-bought our first house in the Bay Area. Our real estate agent referred us to Erick and we are so happy she did! The first thing Erick did was give us a detailed and thorough overview of the mortgage application process so that we felt confident moving forward with our house-buying decision. He presented us with several very detailed scenarios so we could understand exactly what factors would influence our ultimate monthly payment--the key question for every buyer.When we were finally ready to make an offer, Erick and his team sprung into action to make it happen. We were running up against competing offers and had limited time but Erick & company worked quickly and efficiently to make sure that our offer was attractive to a seller with other options.
