The Drop is the place to be. It’s not the average nightclub they offer many different entertainment options depending on the night of the week. They have dope drinks and snacks! Plus I seen they have some famous professional wrestlers that pop in too.

I got ripped off I bought two tickets to see a Cuban band for New Year's Eve it was supposed to start from 9:00 p.m. till after midnight. When I went there the doors were closed it was dark inside and nobody answered the phone! Now I'm going to try to get my money back from Eventbrite! Over $50. And I checked three times drop 84 on Shattuck in Berkeley!!! I'd like to hear from others what's going on what happened???UPDATE... I received my refund!!!!!

This club was one of the worst clubs I have been to in the US. After being let inside, I went back upstairs to get a 21+ wristband. The bouncers wouldn't give me one because "I had already been let in, why didn't I ask for one while I was in line." Nobody told me I needed a 21+ wristband. Eventually, after asking multiple times, I convinced someone to give me one.After I got the wristband I went to the bar to get a drink. The bartender was too busy and lost my credit card behind the bar. When I opened up the book with the receipt to tip, my card was UNDENIABLY not inside. I checked my pockets, my wallet, the ground in front of me with a flashlight, the bar counter with a flashlight, nothing. My friend was standing close by to my left and the wall was to my right. No guest could have stolen it.I asked the bartender and he said he would help me look for the card when the line for drinks was gone. Clearly this was not going to happen until the establishment closed. After waiting patiently for the line to dissipate, I pressed my case and asked if I could come behind the bar to look. He said no, insisting that I lost it, that he had been doing this for twenty years, and he had never lost a card once, despite the obvious reality that he was much busier than I and therefore much more prone to mistakes. The bartender was incredibly condescending, asking me if "I was 20."Do you even know what that implies?When I politely asked management for assistance they were equally dismissive and unhelpful.Drop 84...more like Drop Credit Card.I'm never coming back here and I suggest others stay away.

Stopped by the other week on a Saturday night. All of our interactions with the staff were friendly and nice. The space was huge! I was bummed to see how empty it was - given Berkeley doesn't have many spaces like this, it was surprising. Campus isn't too far away - so I'm wondering how they can figure out how to get folks in the door. I want businesses to succeed, I hope they do!

FINALLY...A DOPE CLUB IN BERKELEY! Drop 84 offers a classy atmosphere with a taste of the dark side for late-night raging! The staff is super nice and genuinely care about their clientele. Highly recommended!

Went to a paint night event! Great atmosphere for a nightclub. Really amazing layout of the club itself not overwhelming with a great sound system. The club was rented out for paint night which gave it a great atmosphere overall. Can’t wait to visit for the club events.

So this is my first time coming to Drip 84 since they remodeled it some years ago, it was formally known as Pasand's they have a spacious Dancefloor, ample size stage for performers ,DJ's, and bands with conveniently located VIP booths right off the dance floor, two large main bars servicing the entire club, in this well lit subterranean club

The club itself is very sad it looks like a closed down restaurant. But once the party starts its fun! Drinks are not that good nor well prepared tho

Poppin’! It seems like I came on the first night, and I was like woah, huge space but spare crowd, but then after 5 mins it was awesome!! Great DJ’s and lighting for underground vibes ?

It's popping off! New bar but has great vibe and talented DJ. Great service and management.$5 drinks on Thursday!!
