My dad was a mechanic, working on Saabs under the apple trees in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. He used to let me rifle through his toolbox for fun. When I learned to drive, I bought a 1978 Saab 99. I inherited my dad's mechanical aptitude, and was soon reading repair manuals and fixing my car myself. I also learned a lot from Wolfgang and Steve, the mechanics at Automeister, the Saab and Volvo specialty shop down the road. Hands-on training, along with automotive repair classes made me an ace mechanic. It has always been a dream of mine to open my own shop, so I call this business Dream Garage, and it is a pleasure to serve you.
